[Woj] Donovan Mitchell signs 5/195M max designated rookie extension with the Jazz

Shut up dude. You were saying he was gonna push for a 4 year deal with an option. This deal is the standard. He ain't looking to bolt.

Sent from my SM-G970U using JazzFanz mobile app
Indeed. We have him for 5 years on this deal and if wants to play 5 and get moved during the 6th year so be it. That gives him and us plenty of time to make this work.

Am I the only one who likes the fact that there’s a player option for the 5th year? Our FO has a supreme weakness when it comes to moving too slowly, an inability to pivot, and asset maximizing. I love there there’s some additional heat on them because of that option. They need it.

Yes and no. As a rule of thumb, players are absolutely dreadful at talent-evaluation.

Um. Yes. We have unbelievable collective resources in this nation but are addicted to dumping them into bull ****.

The middle and lower-classes are going to increasingly squabble and tear apart the fabric of our society for a share of what we’ve been losing for 40 years, while the rich rig the system and count their cash and the world careens toward global ecological collapse.

2020 isn’t a cursed year, it’s a product of an increasingly reckless society that will increasingly fail in the face of increasing problems.

The worst part is, once the **** really hits the fan, 100 years from now, 250 years from now, whenever, our leaders will look back and seriously wonder, “Where did we go wrong?” As if it’s not so ****ing obvious.

Less than 50 if we don't start a World War II-level of mobilization ASAP.

Bear in mind that we just went BACKWARDS for the last four years, after DECADES of inaction.

Who the f*** cares what he gets ... I sure as hell aren’t paying him , neither are you ...

We need him , he is a great young player . Still with upside ... far better than Hayward at any stage of his career ...

Go and ask 80 % of teams who would probably pay him double to have Don

Hope he has a great 5 years and signs another contract after that !

The player option makes it trash, and is exactly what I’ve said the entire time. He front office giving in on that is garbage. Wave goodbye cause he fought hard for that PO. Smh.
Stop it man. You have created so many annoying threads about DM forcing his way to NY...

This extension will give us at least 3-4 years before we decide to blow it up.
