I'm very aware... they can either take the picks in the deal or swap Ben and the picks for Donovan... but they don't get picks if they get off of Ben and get Don.

Brooklyn might... Ben is a tough sell right now and they likely want to be past drama.

If we did this with Brooklyn I wonder if you could sneak in the Lakers Kyrie deal where we send actual players to Nets and we get Westbrook and the picks from LA.

Simmons is a huge risk. He seems like the kind of guy to get out of Utah the first chance he gets then there’s the injury, and quitting on his team history’s. No thanks on Simmons.

I think he's a risk because of the injury, but I actually think UTA is the situation he wants. When he initially wanted out of PHI, he wanted a more low pressure environment. Obviously he deals with confidence issues. I don't think he wants to play in front of the lights anymore. He's also going to be 26, so he's not super young anymore.

In a vacuum Barrett... with Simmons you are likely getting extra stuff with the others you are giving extra stuff.

Simmons has the highest ceiling and we have seen him do it... he also might be broken mentally or physically. If we traded for him I'd want to move him the second he improved his value.

I think Ayton or Simmons would actually give back more picks than Herro and Barrett. People have soured on Ayton and Simmons, whereas Barrett and Herro are coming off good season....or at least good superficial seasons.
