And very VERY few of those epidemics happened in the United States. One being a bad flu season another being Flint Water crisis.

So... The probability of a epidemic happening that certain timeframe was extremely unlikely. Not improbable of course but he fully guaranteed something bad will happen. There have only been 4-5 epidemics in the US since 1950.

The specific moment. I noticed he said “based on my experience”. I know, in my own case, I began noticing warnings about pandemics becoming more commonplace, and more dangerous, about 20 years ago. In any event, I have a hard time interpreting this as Fauci saying “my connections to Wuhan lab tells me they will be releasing a virus that will initiate a pandemic. Surprise!!”

A short version, providing a bit more context, without listening to the entire address. I don’t find what he said surprising, or suggestive of a hidden conspiracy at all. I do understand why those who dislike or are highly suspicious of Fauci, to begin with, would seize on his statement, and the specific words regarding a “surprise”, but it seems a typical conspiracism reach to conclude he was announcing that Covid would soon be upon us(in another 3 years), because of a deep, dark secret that he held. It would be somewhat absurd to think he would reveal his “dark secret”, so to speak, but I guess fools often rush in….

The world get more inter-connected every year, and we had to be watch out to make sure they didn't come to the US, or were contained if they did.

I mean, George W. Was smart enough to know that some virus would “surprise” us and that as a federal gov’t, they needed to prep. Conspiracy theorists are morons.

Ok then why did he hide the fact that this couldve been a lab since February 2020?

Dr. Baric a virologist at Wuhan has blatantly said he used NIH money for gain of research virus. Fauci has lied under oath that he did no such thing. Why?

 
I mean, you guys do realize that the Wuhan lab leak is now admitted to be just as plausible as the market "conspiracy" right?
