Would Jazz be better off?

So we're comparing Millsap to Thabo and Jerebko? Millsap was a very good player for us and at the time had not yet hit his prime, he went on to be a 4 time all star and have some of the best years of his career with the Hawks. Thabo and Jonas are washed up end of bench type of guys that never had anywhere near the talent of Millsap even in their primes.
No, I'm not comparing, as you'll note that I did mention the difference in age, the only comparison was in giving up on players we shouldn't have. Another player we gave up on who may have been worth keeping was CJ though that's questionable. Millsap certainly was a big mistake because we chose Favors over him. Also, Korver, but by the time he came back, his career was / is near its end. However, letting go of Korver when we did was also a mistake.

CJ freakin Miles really?. Are you forgetting how people felt about him?. Or the fact that somehow he got worse every single season (look at his fg% declining for 4-5 consecutive years)

Millasp? Sure, in hindsight he ended up being better than Favors but context matters. The NBA was different then. Size was at premium. Millsap although being pretty good, looked like he had plateau. Favors was athletic and long for his position. He had more potential. At the time my regret was not trading Millsap and getting something in return (instead of the crappy GSW picks).
