I hope Hayward gets traded and then Ainge slips on the winter ice and busts his ankle. Better yet, broken hip.
Does that make me a terrible person for wishing harm on another person? Yes, if I believed Ainge was actually a person. IMO, he's the devil incarnate.
 
Why Ainge would spends one minute of his day just to help the a competitor (the jazz) will remain a total mystery to me. And the rest of the nba. Except for a few jazz fans incapable of seeing the world from anything but a jazz centric perspective. He clearly thought he had better options available for jae and other assets.
 
I think Ainge gets more credit than he deserves. The REAL Russia-gate. How the owners of the celtics shook down a Russian Oligarch for the most lopsided trade in history.

I'm in agreement. It would have been stupid of him to give Utah a trade exception. What if they're after the same player, a possibility given the fact Boston is actively seeking a PF and he knew Favors could leave Utah after this season. Team B wants picks and maybe a young prospect, but doesn't want to take back much in salary. Utah can absorb Player X by using the trade exception. Boston has to give back salaries. Celtics miss out on their veteran trade target and he goes to Utah.
 
woj just released a statement saying that boston was trying to trade for leonard in february.......something tells me that kyrie was in that package, but it be really funny if it was hayward.
 
Kyrie wants Boston to back up the Brinks truck. I think Ainge sees PG can be adequately staffed by Rozier and Smart for half the price. Celtics dont need a ton of scoring from the 1. They need PG's to run the offense and be stout on defense like the rest of the starters. Horford, Tatum and Brown are more than capable of being the 3 main scorers.

I think Irving is likely being shopped.
 
I don’t think Kyrie is going to be an issue either for the Celtics if they want to go after LeBron. It doesn’t appear that Kyrie is all that enthused about staying with the Celtics beyond this season, so I could definitely see a trade happening this summer.
