Would you forgive Ainge

I would laugh my *** off if this trade happened. One, I'd love to see the look on Kyrie's face. Two, I'd love to see Haircut rot in Ohio. Three, we'd get some epic NBA Finals series for the duration of the Warriors-Celtics mega dynasties. Win-win-win.

I think it would be a struggle. A number of times during the playoffs I find myself thinking "holy **** these guys are bad outside of LeBron."

Love isn't an atrocious #1 option, but I think his best days are behind him and I also think he would be moved if LeBron left, in which case they would go into 100% rebuilding mode and would probably field one of the least competitive rosters the NBA has seen this decade.
 
They should move Love even if LeBron stays. On defense, Love is playing the role LeBron should be playing. On offense, they can survive without Love. The Cavs play better and win a bunch when Love doesn't play.

I assume there was massive tampering by him and Brad... I hate everyone involved there, but I support the Hayward to Cleveland trade. Would be great to see him Hill and Hood reunited and for his "mentor" to turn his back on him. I would love for him to experience NBA loyalty at its highest level.
 
At some point LBJ has to decline too... I'm not predicting it soon, but I'd love for it to happen if he was a celtic.

Tampering? If there was any, big freaking deal.

I get not liking Hayward...Ainge is just a good GM. I’m not gonna be mad at him because Hayward went to play for his old college coach and people here thought Ainge should trade us assets for no reason.

It is a big deal... players can do whatever, but the pre-existing relationship with Brad allowed them to talk and you don't think they ever discussed him coming over.

There was a report he wanted to be moved before his last season... what if it was true but Brad and Danny got in his ear and said "hey we will just get you without sending anything out next year".

When Gordo walked off the court in the GS series it felt like he already knew.

And if the situation was reversed we’d be stoked! That’s just life...connections matter. Again, you can be mad at Hayward, maybe even Stevens, but Ainge was just being a good GM. I can’t fault him for that.
