Would you trade for Draymond?

If we want to get another big the guy I'd look at is Kelly Olynyk. He can pass, shoot, and is a solid positional defender... could give us a stretch five element and play next to Rudy against some of the supersized teams. If you could convince a third team to take an expiring for Exum to pass to Miami then you might be able to swipe him.

NY won't trade Portis... his contract has a team option next year so it's essentially expiring. His defense is *** and I worry he's played on too many bad teams to be saved... seems like he might be a good stats on bad teams guy. If it was Exum for him then by all means.

The only guys I’d be looking to move are Exum, Bradley, and scrub fodder.

They were going to sign Mirotic and a wing. Then Mirotic said he was done with the NBA. Then the Jazz went after Portis and Bogdanovic, got traction with both, and signed Bogdanovic. Looks like we dodged a bullet. Bogdanovic is obviously a better player than Mirotic.

I think the Jazz want to be players in FA in 2021, adding to a core of Mitchell, Bogey and Gobert (extended). I think that's why they extended Ingles another year. Conley would be coming off the books that offseason.

100% Exum is a bad contract and has negative value. They already have two lottery pg busts and Elfrid Payton... not sure Exum could play there... plus he ded.

If he was healthy and playing well enough to convince a team he still has potential, but not so great that DL has a 3-hour Viagra boner... then maybe we can squeak something minor out in a trade. DL and Zanik have done a great job filling out the roster so finding obvious upgrades isn't easy. I predict we have zero trades until draft night.

He's so good and such a great fit with the system. You can tell he's happy here and that Quin knows how to use him. He's been really solid on defense too. Honestly if we could just get Conley and Joe shooting well then the Rudy lobs open back up and its over.

Next game we need to get Rudy going. 20+.
