Can this be real? Newsweek is as liberal as they come. They have a long history of spinning the narrative to benefit the Dems. I'm stunned that they would publish an article that questioned Barrack's presidency at all, but especially so close to the election. If this is not some sort of a hoax I'll bet this issue sets an all-time sales record.

I was wondering if this was a satirical article. Many on the left don't think Obama has done enough.

Is this unusual? I don't follow mainstream political publications.

Here's an example: https://www.theatlantic.com/busines...usons-very-bad-argument-against-obama/261306/

The fact check leads with "Niall Ferguson doesn't like President Obama, and doesn't think you should either.

That's perfectly fine. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to disapprove of the president. Here's the big one: 8.3 percent. That's the current unemployment rate, fully three years on from the official end of the Great Recession."

Then goes into some fact checking of the article, which is pretty brutal.

Ezra Klein also covers a particularly deceptive portion of the article here: https://www.washingtonpost.com/blog...-worst-case-against-the-obama-administration/

Yes. If it's a democrat and it's not FoxNews.

Is this Democrat thing legit? I hear it all the time, but it's hard to take seriously. While journalists tend to be more socially progressive, at least historically, the mainstream media are in the entertainment business with very little connection to journalism, and with deep concern about the maximizing profits. Why would they side with one side or the other?
