Isn't calling Clarkson "my boy" racists? Isn't that what the Utah guy called Westbrook too?

I'm being a smart-*** more than anything. I remember after that incident I wrote something like I didn't know calling someone boy was racist until I googled it and someone gave me **** for not knowing it.

I used to call my friends my boys all the time but stopped since then.

No, the context I used "my boy" meant I really admired him like a close friend or a brother.
