I'm thinking in 3 years this lineup would be so damn good defensively. Also it gives us shooting on the wings and oozes athleticism. That frontcourt would be nasty. Who could score on us in the paint?

Trey Burke
Gordon Hayward
Aaron Gordon
Derrick Favors
Rudy Gobert

It's definitely sexy from a defensive standpoint. Trey needs to and probably will improve a little bit on defense. I think the problem is the offense though. Favors and Gobert would need to improve offensively(Gobert most) to make it truly $exy.

a better lineup in 3 years

pg ?
sg Burks
sf Parker
pf ?
c ?

I've lost most of the hope I had in our young guys. Maybe one of them can turn **** around this year but I really think we are back at square one. They are assets to help us get basketball players.

I think who is coaching them is more important than who they are at this stage. Unless some big moves are made which i don't expect.

If you want an athletic, defensive minded SF you could also look at KJ McDaniels.

He could be special and he can defend 1-3 on the court.

Worst shooting and offensive team in the league. Aaron Gordon is a PF until he figured out his shot. I don't even think he has the lateral quickness to play SF either. He is PF but not even full time. The guy is overrated.

I prefer
Trey
Burks
Parker
Kanter
Favors

Don't trade anyone away. Trade away draft picks to get Parker.

It's a pity nobody really pays any attention to you then.

.... actually it's not. It's really AWESOME.

Hasn't this season taught us anything? Based on the lack of offensive firepower with this lineup, Hayward once again would be asked to be the main scoring option...FAIL.

Did you guys not read the 3 years part? If you don't think any of those guys offense will be vastly improved than of course that lineup will be horrible offensively.

But I have more faith in our young guys. And Aaron Gordon has the skills to improve as well. He's only 18.

Rather have Kanter in the starting 5 than Gobert, but I like Gordon at the 3. As is, that front court has no offense, no one to stretch the floor, or even shoot beyond 10 feet. That lane would be crowded and that starting unit would struggle to score.
