What's new

Your New Year's Eve trade idea fix.

Lyles is literally playing like the worst rookie in the league. We could have drawn a name out of hat and come up with someone better.

Yes, of course young players take time to develop, but he is light-years behind all the other rookies. That's a really bad sign for things to come. His game is absolute garbage right now. He shows no signs of being a good player. His ceiling is Jared Dudley at best.

Talk about having really thick Homer glasses on. If he was on another team and I suggested trading for him? That would go over even worse than this. You've gotta step back from the kool-aid and see this for what it is. It was a really bad pick.

You obviously don't know what the word literally means.

Haha. Hack negged me for this. It's hysterical how much of an absolute clown you are. As if I care about negs. Newsflash. Don't make idiotic statements and you won't be called out on them.

There are a couple bright spots I see in Lyles game...rebounding and passing. But I don't ever see him being a knock down elite shooter like Ryan Anderson. It seems like there's a consensus around here that Lyles is/will be a good 3 point shooter...i don't get it. I see a career 25-30% 3pt shooter, that's just me...

We didn't draft him to be a knock down shooter like Ryan Anderson, we drafted him because he could stretch the floor well enough to make use of rest of his offensive game (passing, reading of defenses) with the hope of him becoming a good defender in the mould of Draymond Green (best case scenario) and Boris Diaw (floor). Which those two players are career .335 and .341 three point shooters, which as they have shown is all they need to be in order for defenses to respect them. Although Draymond is shooting over 40% this season but that just shows what practice can do.

How good is Millsap shooting threes? We drafted Lyles to be a stretch 4 and he will become a borderline Allstar. Millsap did not start shooting three until 27 years old. Lyles is but 19 and can already shoot 30 per cent. He will be middle 40s per cent by age 25.

I got a neg for my literally post as well -- we must have struck a nerve. Validation and high praise -- a positive rep from Hack would be cause from existential concern.

Two names, Sloan, Corbin. They stifled Millsap. Can you imagine him on the Jazz right now? Crowder on steroids.

Yep. We screwed up letting Millsap go. He has been an excellent player for today's game.

We let him go because of Favors, but with the way the game has evolved, Millsap has turned out to be the better choice. Favors is really a center in today's game rather than a power forward, and that was apparent in the game against the Celtics.

I know y'all are down and out, and sad about the the Jazz. So I bringing you a New Year's Eve trade idea to make you feel better.

The man we should go after is Spencer Dinwiddie. He's a good young player (22), who is big for a point guard. He is just a victim of a deep bench and can't get on the court. He'd definitely be worth a look.

Trey stankin Lyles

For

Spencer Dinwiddie

I doubt the Pistons would bite on Lyles though. Use one of those extra first rounders, or a few 2nd rounders.

Also, go get KJ McDaniels. That's should patch us up for a bit.

I got a few more tricks up my sleeve. I'll reveal them later. Stay tuned and keep your head up.

Once a hack always a hack, Hack you hacking idiot!! If he had his way we wouldn’t have Mitchell. Do us all a favor, Hack!! Go back into hibernation.

I agree 100%. I've been saying this for years; Favors is better as a C. He could have been a perennial East All Star if he would have been there the last 5 years.
