Dante has the worst form and slowest shot of all the Jazz guards since Ronnie Brewer, Simmons makes Dante's shot look like Hornacek.

Could U imagine that happens Dante and favs goes to 76ers. Dante gets his jumper going. They play the jazz Dante and Ben with their size and athleticism. Conley and Donovan would definitely struggle against Ben and Dante in the backcourt. Ben and Dante way taller than both also lots faster. They would smother Conley and Donovan. And then Dante will improve his jumper it's all over

All of it just Tony's opinion. Nowhere does he say even "according to sources." "I think so" is a far cry from saying, "yes, my sources told me the Jazz were the front runner for Tobias."

Philly can offer more. Jazz were among several teams that could offer him a max. The drop-off from Conley to the best available free agent PG is far greater than the drop-off from Harris to Favors, especially when you also factor in Derrick's mins at the 5. And that's ASSUMING that Harris would have agreed to sign with Utah.

Free agents never say tweet saying it, or say it in an interview until they sign. Not even Lebron. Tobias has been a fan of Snyder for a long time, plus being buddy with Donnovan helps that much more, It's not a secret.

How would Conley and Donovan get past Ben and Dante in the backcourt not possible. Donovan and Conley would have no chance offensively
 
I just wonder what else the Jazz can do this offseason. I know there's some PR speak when they say they'll be aggressive, but I mean they only have the room mid level and vet mins. And the vibe is that they'll only lose Favors if there's someone significantly better. So what else can they do?

Anyways, the Wolves are apparently trying to make a splash and try to sign D'Lo. Maybe their new Pres of Bball Ops learned from Morey and is a miracle worker with these contracts. Speaking of Morey, the Rockets think they have a real chance to sign Jimmy Butler, but it would take multiple teams and some cap gymnastics.

The Knicks, the Hawks have some space left. The Bulls maybe if they don't get Malcolm Brogdon or whatever. They would have to trade them a team and use those picks. Remember how the Warriors wiped the books for Andre Iguodala. They would have to do that and sign Jimmy. Or they would have to work a sign-and-trade with the Sixers, which would be very difficult because then they would lose their ability to be a tax team.

On Zach Lowe's podcast he said execs are still trying to figure out if D'Lo actually improved, or if he just...hit more floaters in a random blip this past year.

Not if Dante gets his jumper going. They would be the best fast break team in the league, the fastest, and they would smother teams defensively. They would destroy the jazz if Dante gets his jumper going

3 way trades. Favors is a sweet 5, he should be able to start on more then half NBA teams. Plenty of teams have cap room to absorb both.

Dante is never going to improve. You just pray for health and he contributes, nothing special.
