It was my understanding that Zimmerman was heading back to his vehicle after trying to determine where Martin went when Martin came up behind him and confronted him.

Yeah, I too hate it when Americans exercise their first amendment rights. They should just skip over it and use their second. Whoever draws fastest with the biggest gun, wins!

I have no problem with it. Even if there's loitering! They'll have to pay for the damage anyway. Burn the city to the ground. Then pay double in taxes to rebuild it. Ha! That'll show the world how much we care about our country and judicial system!

I don't see anything wrong with them voicing their opinions. I have problems with rioting, looting, and possible violence.

Also, before every body gets their panties in a twist, what was the first amendment based on? A bunch of dudes who ran slanderous pamphlets and who tarred and feathered political opponents. Don't like a governor of what someone said? Get a riot together and tar and feather em! Or even better, far and feather him then hang him so the whole town can see his rotting carcass!

Don't agree obviously, but we know jurors make mistakes. See the OJ trial. This was far different, but same bad outcome.

I hope people don't act the fool, and use this as an excuse to destroy stuff. Stay calm people, and respect the process.

We disagree on the verdict, but we certainly agree on the aftermath. I hope people are smart enough not to loot stores or commit acts of violence.
