That episode sucked...
I am fully convinced and holding out for next season when:
The red hair crazy fire lady is bringing Jon Snow back to life because she knows his mom Lyanna Stark and his dad is Rhaegar Targarian
Tyrion last remaining like-able main character.
So the show has met or exceeded all the storylines in all the books, so us book readers can let loose now, right? Show watchers are all the way caught up with the written work. We can all go for it as far as what we think is going on?
Yes the show has passed the books from what people are saying online about it. Although there is just different stuff as well.
Besides stuff that seems to be completely left out, the show is ahead of the books.
The very last thing written in the book was John Snow getting stabbed. The second to last thing was Khaleesi getting found by the Dothrakis. We're there. Next season will go well past what was published in the books unless book six miraculously gets published before then and also is enough to make more than one season out of.
The show just slapped GRRM in the face and told him that book four and five combined, a couple thousand pages (I have no actual idea how may pages, I read the book on a Kindle), couldn't fill a single season of the show... after they made two seasons out of book three.
