What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Probably the fourth or fifth time I've seen it.

Shut up. It's a good movie. I know colton would be down.

Has anyone seen "The Human Centipede?"

Here's the trailer:

Probably not what you would call the feel good movie of the summer - but Roger Ebert inadvertently gave the film a little boost by refusing to give it a rating. Only the second time he's done that in 40 years.

Apparently they've already made a sequel.

Not sure if Comcast offers the same exact movies on their On Demand no matter where you live but right now, for me, Comcast has The Human Centipede for $7.99. I think I may rent and watch it tonight.

Watched Shutter Island last night. Terribly predictable and just meh.

I've been watching Party Down all day. Highly entertaining...especially when you start drinking at noon and rip on Mormons all day.

Just taking a look at what's out there. I was initially pleased with the scientific moral dilemmas and discussion, but then there was some sex and violence, and that's yucky, you all know how much I don't like to see stuff like that. Give me Bambi any day over this filth.

except for the SHAKY cams during action sequences whats up with these directors shaking the cam whenever there is action shaking and close up means people cant see whats really happening.

So I have to split my time between going to see children's movies with my 5-yr old and sneaking away to see adult movies (no, not THAT kind).

Robin Hood - enjoyed it. But I understand the criticism over the last battle scene.
Furry Vengeance - I definitely want my money back. Even my daugther, who generally likes any kids film, lost interest. Not even a few mummies could have saved it.

I just watched "The Messenger" with Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster.

Solid movie. Probably better than "Taking Chance" which I also liked a lot. Certainly more realistic.

Foster is probably the next great character actor.

Had a ****** rainy movie weekend. Friday night "Alice in Wonderland" and Saturday night, Mel Gibson's "Edge of Darkness".

Ugh.

I guess some have had issues with it being vulgar and raunchy but c'mon look who's in the movie and use some common sense or quit being so hypersensitive.

Wanted to comment on a couple of the movies mentioned...

Oldboy- great
Human Centipede - awful. awful acting. stupid. didn't make it through the whole thing. turned it off after the front centipede started to take a crap.

Last movie I watched: Shutter Island.

We ordered it on demand last night. What a waste of time. Between The Departed and this piece of trash - Scorcese is officially COOKED. Time to retire Marty.

That man had way too much talent. Huge loss. But a great tribute to him. It would have been an amazing concert to go to.

Unfortunately feels like a watered-down version of his more well-known films "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington."

Gary Cooper, while a fine actor in his own right, simply isn't as charming as Jimmy Stewart even though I liked him in his other Capra film "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town."

The primary plot, involving a sort of grassroots political movement focused on upsetting the powers that be, also has a weird taste in the mouth when viewed in the Tea Party era.

I posted about it on the 1st page-I saw it last month. It's bizarre but entertaining. Certainly if you have a low threshold for gross, then it's not the movie for you. A lot of it is subtitled in German. As for the sequel, I hear in that one he attempts to make a centipede out of 12 people instead of 3.
