Best part was the last school scene when the mom/V.P is looking out at the buses and that kid is at a window set and looks over at her and their eyes meet. His look is full of "I told you! You stupid idiot". I hope that kid sticks around but I doubt it. He seems to be the most forward thinking person on the show when it comes to the reality they live in.

I wonder how long they will drag out the show based in LA with a huge walker and non infected population or will it spiral into the tone of The Walking Dead quickly.

If they were smart they would drag out the fall of L.A. for at least the whole first season. Preferably two.

Yeah cuz short fat nerdy kids last long in a zombie filled world. THat kid is already dead or raped.
 
so my question is - why it was only figured out after quite a few episodes in Walking Dead that all dead actually turn and that you do not need to be bitten to turn. While here they show right from the get go that dead become undead right away? Something is not right.

I'm just bothered that people living in a modern day society are still clueless on how to kill people who can seemingly take any and all damage and still move while moaning and being completely expressionless. Like in real life, your first reaction would be to say "that's a mother****ing zombie". But here they are like "omg what is happening". It's zombies, duh.

SHOOT THEM IN THE HEAD!!! HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN A ZOMBIE MOVIE BEFORE?!?

They are not "trying". Walking Dead has huge numbers and Fear The Walking Dead just had a 6.3 opening premier.

They are setting records.

I have hope for this show.

But serious question. How would you make a zombie show more mentally stimulating?
 
I hate myself that I watch this, but anything with zombies is cool.

Anyone could write for this show and it would still be a hit. Makes me so mad they could have done any kind of spinoff. Like they could have done a spinoff with a fresh take and they chose to do something that is almost just like the original. I mean, it's set a little bit behind, but by the time most of season 1 is done, the original take will be done and it will just be the same thing.
