What's new

Trade THE **** out of Al Jefferson.

Look at it this way, if Derrick Favors gets any burn then maybe you can all forget about how little Al Jefferson dunks. That's all Favors does, and with a little authority.

Al Jefferson is a good player: 18/9/2. He's a great 2nd option. He should be playing PF most of the time, not C. He's a building block.

Why would we want to trade him?

If we don't have a Jazz system anymore, I'd just as soon design one to use Al more effectively. Guys with his post skills don't grow on trees.

...guys with his post skills??? What games have you been watching? Jefferson is nothing more than a board crasher with an extremely low basketball IQ! If you can't pickup the pick and roll with Deron as your point guard....your never going to get it! Talking about fools gold.....that's Jefferson and his post game for ya! Nobody's going to give us much for Jefferson, that's for sure!

A great 2nd option? He was a second option here and we couldn't accomplish ****. Dude's been a loser, a BIG-TIME loser wherever he's played and I attribute that to his conditioning, his basketball iq, and most of all his inability to play team ball. Dude is the blackest of black holes. No pun intended.

Good? He's a volume shooter, doesn't draw fouls, can't pass out of a double team, does nothing in transition, rebounds at a mediocre rate. And all that for $13mil....oh boy.

I think one domino in the chain of Deron's unhappiness was realizing that his Robin was a big (but not big enough), sloppy, dullard with no fundamentals.

New Jersey didn't have any cap room. They'd have to pull in a 3rd team and give them something of value like the Golden State pick.

Trading with a different team for a better player was probably the goal, but apparently this was the best offer available. Too bad Curry for D-Will didn't make any more sense to GS than playing who they already have.

Troy Murphy. I'm sure Brendan Wright isn't going to be the holdup of their most important acquisition of... ever? ason Kidd?
