That is a misleading statistic being that more people live where lightning occurs (basically everywhere) than where sharks live.Statistically you have way higher odds being struck by lighting then attacked by shark.
I believe that sharks migrate from place to place depending on the season/weather.It evens up as shark attacks can happen all year round in those areas while lighting strikes are seasonal in a lot of areas.
