The win-now movement = Moral victories. KD to the Warriors means they've overplayed their hand

The Jazz small chance to move up in the west has now been reduced to trivialities, they need the warriors to get injured which is no plan at-all.. They're showing up to a gunfight with a water pistol in the western playoffs, even with George Hill and Joe Johnson..

The move was clearly to stay in player development/asset acquisition and teams like Boston and PHX were ready to help them do that and they balked. The Warriors core is mostly players in the 25-27 range, the move was to build a squad of 18-22 year olds (Like the Lakers are doing..)

Utah's priority should've been to stay young. I've been saying for years here snowballing the assets.. for as young as they are, if I was in charge they'd be even younger. Thats the best way to navigate thru these next few seasons.

Jazz fans being held captive by Hayward and Lindsey who wants to show improvement, it's a sham. The groundwork was in place to wait this storm out properly, instead they've decided now's the time to make hero moves (instead of shrewd ones).

Look who's back. I give it three months before he's crying and taking his ball with him.

Um....Utah did stay young. Their title hopes lay in Exum and Gobert and Hayward. They are still here. If everything goes the Jazz way, Hill and JJ will be bench guys come the playoffs.

The league has been taken hostage PG.

Also staying in young player accumulation forever is no plan either.

There will always be superstar players. Get real.

Have you not been reading? They do not care for championship braugh. They wanted to suffer through rebuild to almost be as good as AJ Sap Hayward Mo Carrol.

WE ARE NOT FANS FOR CHIPS WE ARE HERE FOR PAIN!

The Jazz would have to hide and cower for at least five years as GSW is still so young and their core 4 is small enough in number - in addition to the smaller cap numbers on most of them for a few years - that they should be able to keep it together financially. Is that your big ****ing plan? How about have some pride and throw a punch? What other choice is there?

How good would this team be with AJ Sap Gobert older Favors an Hayward Hill and JJ? I take that over everything we have today an I would not have to watched losing seasons for no reason.

The only reason Lebaron won the title is because the Warriors were injured. Some plan huh.

Eat a weiner for fourth of July, pgab

1st post in the thread thats got nothing to do with the OP. I'm counting. You wanna fight my logic with comments about me? go for it, you're saying nothing.

care to try deobfuscate my points here?

Anyone whos been reading my posts over the years knows that what i've just posted here is nothing new, just an update. It's now just painfully obvious with KD to GSW that Hayward should've been moved for the picks.

These moves are veiled as appeasing Hayward but they also appease Dennis Lindsey who's yet to make the playoffs here.

The Jazz are 200:1 to win the chip. Funds are now being allocated for moral victories to put asses in seats and get a few more playoff games to make $$ from.

These coming issues all could've been obviated too.

The point of sports is only to win championships, and if you don't think you can do that, you should just quit. Thanks for the infinite wisdom, ****ing dunce.

Jazz will be alright...they are going to be built around Exum and Gobert and Hayward.Jazz will be super athletic and long and will contest GS fullcourt. Exum and GHill up front defensively for 48 minutes will make Gobert and Favors even more of a factor.

And for everyone who thinks the Jazz are going to get smoked by GS doesn't appreciate long ,lengthy athletic defense the Jazz are going to hang their hats on this season.

There is almost nothing we can or anyone can do to compete with this team unless injuries hit. So just be as good as you can and hope... This NBA is no fun.

Well put. I agree with Numberica on this issue. Jazz should go out and do battle, come what may.

Lol at Lakers 18-22 year old team. They signed mozgov and Deng. You are a moron

Those aren't core players, those players are just there to bridge the gap til the Warriors are in their 30's

Brandon Ingram, D'Angelo Russell, Julius Randle, Ivica Zubac is the young core.
