you're a nice mod, Moe. Sometimes.

let's say an "easy" Mod. I know you do it for free.

Sir Kicky does it because he's an egghead incubated in San Francisco, and he got his job there by foaming at the mouth his law school culture. He's paid well, but no need for Soro's cash.

However, asking direct questions about why Colton and Jason don't have a single conservative mod on their voluntary, unpaid staff is fair. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I just believe people have their own reasons for go along with one partisan program or another, and for their biases generally.

No question some paid agents work for some people who have the money to do internet sites for their reasons. The LDS Church does it, for God's sake.

I'd just like to have Jason, Colton, or even some to the contributing members like Jones or Kicky, lay out their ideological commitments and explain their Mod choices. Stoked is the closest thing to a conservative they have picked.

I think the Trump witchhunt is so bad, so biased, so partisan, and so obviously intended to hobble Trump in implanting his campaign promised, it stinks that conservatives have been sorta systematically discouraged in this site. This is a Utah-based site, on a Utah sports theme. Why is it so packed with anti-Trump partisans.

fair question for anyone who is absolutely and obviously connected and committed as Red and Thriller are, coming in here daily with multiple standard talking point pieces all going the same way.

A normal human being, being honest generally, will have some questions about fairness, and some conflicting information, rather than being so one-sided, about all their opinions.

Mod choices are not made along political lines for starters. So lib/conservative leanings are not really determining factors.

The President does get a ton of flack on here. Is some over the top biased and overly dramatic? I think so. Some of Red, Bulletproof and thriller's comments come to mind. But they mostly openly admit that bias or it is common knowledge.

But that still fails to explain the widespread opposition to him on Jazzfanz. Maybe, just maybe, we think many of his character traits, tendencies and policies are bad things. I personally find him petty, easily distracted, brash and over confident. I also hate the way he uses Twitter. Then you have his constant flip flopping on the same subject and the inability of his admin to get on the same page. He is constantly contradicted by his cabinet level officials. I am glad there is debate there but it should be internal and not external. We should never hear about it. I found his promise to have Mexico pay for the wall idiotic at best. Then I disagree with removing the ACA and starting fresh. No, tweak it where it needs tweaking.

I agree that the media is not politically independent and I am general slightly cautious of them. But that doesn't mean that the President isn't creating a lot of this smoke/fire himself. I did laugh openly at their reactions on election night. Specifically TYT and Maddow.

I also find you, Boris and DutchJazzer to be on the opposite end of the political spectrum. You three to me are just as bad for the political discussion climate on here as anyone. So when you talk about unfairness and being one sided you will have to forgive me is I roll my eyes and chuckle.

Huh?? I'm a conservative, for starters. I'm just anti-Trump.

But as Stoked said, mod choices are not made along political lines at all. So that's a very weird question to ask.

That's just what an operative for the East India Trading Company would say... very suspicious.

Actually the election directly disproves this. More people voted for Clinton than the President. yes the E.C. and all that. I am not disputing he won. But if we are talking about being in our out of touch with "America" then that is a general population game and there has been nothing, at any point whatsoever, to show that the President represents a majority of America.

In fact I believe the opposite is true. I think a majority oppose him to some degree.

But hey why worry about that when the british still exist ;)

trump won MORE AREA!
also their have been report of voter fraud(ooh wait sorry voter fraud does not exist)

I used to think Stoked was a fair conservative. I just don't think he carries water for that team, or cares to. I think you and Jonah are excellent examples of the Bush sort of Republicans.

We have some solid conservative radio talk show hosts in people like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, who are fully connected with the realities of today's world. Millions of Americans like them, and are grateful to have their programs on air. Mark Levin is a solid conservative Republican as well, and a solid legal expert on some things, like the Constitution.

Utah/Mormon based conservatives sometimes are not so realistic or grounded in today's world, what with the Book of Ether figuring in to validate rash and simplistic "conspiracy theories" essentially along the lines of evil men with sworn blood oaths like the Gadianton Robbers, and such.

I don't think Joel Skousen, son of W. Cleon Skousen of "The Naked Communist" and "The Naked Capitalist" school of political analysis have got it nailed by any means. I think the ideals of the founding fathers in regard to human rights, human dignity, and human opportunity have been largely displaced in today's culture, and people want their government to do stuff, even on a global scale. I just think the people are handled like mushrooms too much, and we have no objective media outing the real skunks.

I don't think we can have good government by immoral people. I think that is where you get off, or never got on the Trump Train, and that was the problem why Trump did not get the same kind of enthusiasm in Utah.

But really, do you expect me to believe there has never been a good, fair, or objective conservative in here who would have served to balance the tone of JazzFanz rhetoric a bit?

It is true I range the field, and pick up stuff from across the spectrum. I have a wife who is Republican to the core, a Milton Friedman economist. I like Lyndon LaRouche, whom I have met. I know he even visited Henry E. Eyring years ago, and spent hours talking with him. Eyring was like that. He appreciated people who had some interesting point of view coming around to visit.

I don't fit with today's democrats since the Clinton sold out the Party to the Banks. While I would espouse the interests of the common man, I think history vindicates the notions that governments never do right for the peon/peasant/serf sort.

I call it the mushroom cloud.

I signed up as a Republican a few years ago, after many years as an independent. I would self-identify most with Sean Hannity.

I was going to pos rep this, since it proves you do read my comments sometimes, and still have a sense of humor.

too much work to look for some other things to rep so I can have the privilege.

when i said socialism is like ****, i could tell you you if certain things got compared to rape! i would not have been gone for 6 months!

it feels like a double standard

Trump is rocking something like a 60% disapproval rating right now so I'm a little confused by the notion that people who don't support him online must be paid hacks. Just doesn't make any sense.

Also I'm now convinced that babe isn't a real person. No actual human would ever say something like this :
"I would self-identify most with Sean Hannity"

babe post 703 has some good stuff in it. I like the part about good gov and immoral people.

But then you align yourself with Hannity? He is the Maddow of the right. A intentionally biased, misinforming blowhard. Terrible.

I am foreign policy, military and economically right leaning in my views. I am left leaning in most social matters. I refuse to carry water for either "team" as I find the professionals on those teams to be by and large morally bankrupt.

Are you kidding? lol

I hear that crap all the time. Plenty of people view him in a very positive light. I am most certainly not one of them.
