Says we may not have one of our picks by draft night. Says Rubio on the radar. Says we will not trade Hood or Burks. Hood because of Hayward uncertainty and Burks because we want to rehab his value.

Seemed convinced.
 
Beverly is a better fit in almost every way relative to Rubio, especially/at least if we still have Hayward (who is basically the PG).

I'm still in on Teodosic, though. Jazz need to be figuring out how to preserve or add assets where possible.

This all makes me kind of nervous... We may do a deal we regret when Hayward leaves and sit in the middle try to patch it together.

But if you can parlay Hood into a different/better insurance policy?
 
If Hayward leaves, you make moves for the future, you do nothing to compromise that for a handful more wins over the next two years.

It sounds disgustingly familiar to the dark times after Boozer left, memo was broken and Deron was pissy, or even the times of Big Al, Marvin and Foye while the Hayward and Favors watched.

I'd almost prefer a race to the bottom than bouncing around 40 wins for 2-3 seasons.
 
If I'm Lindsey I bring in a star to go with Gobert. No player is off limits. This team isn't good enough to beat the Warriors you need a guy like Butler, George, lilliard, someone solid. Quit baking the cake and order a damn steak.

We absolutely do not have enough to get Lillard unless you want to trade Rudy.

We will get out bidder for Butler if he is indeed available.

Paul George is gettable but it may take a ring to get him to stay more than a year.
 
Looking to make a trade for a shooter and looking to trade for Rubio... just don't trade for Rubio and you won't be as desperate for a shooter. Or get Beverly.

That's why it scared me... Rubio from Minny.. Al from Minny... we sign the equivalent of Raja Bell and have a ****ty few years.

Yeah. Trade for a shooter. Then say they are looking at the one of the worst shooting point guard in the league. Makes sense.

Oh man... if that shooter is Danny Green... unless we keep Hayward that'd be an awful move.
