there is reason for that. He is just an average defensive player.

Maybe/maybe not. There's a good argument that Stockton didn't every really deserve all defensive first team--I kind of feel this way and I'm a huge Stockton fan. He gambled a lot on the passing lanes, often successfully, which is why he got a ton of steals. But he wasn't that great of a man on man defender.

Stock made All NBA second defensive team 5 times, I think at least one first team selection was deserved.

KAT? SERIOUSLY? KAT got all defense vote? WOW! Whoever voted KAT should be deprived of a vote next year.

If we're being honest, about 80-90% of the media members who vote shouldn't have a vote. They don't actually do any research on who actually deserves to make these teams or who deserves to win awards. If they did stupid votes like this wouldn't be the norm. And the right players would win awards.

Well Green got more votes for all defense so I wouldn't be surprised if he won DPOY even though I think Rudy deserves it.

Well deserved!!! Trivia question - who else from the Jazz was named to NBA All-defensive First team before? Hint - some major snub there, some people who do not know will be pissed.

My unrealistic win-now scenario is taking Favors, Hood, Exum, Burks and picks and parlaying that into Love, Green, Beverly and Bogut. That team has a short half-life but I think super teams are overrated and we could take them down.
