NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

He did. I think he does good work. He said no way in hell Ingles is leaving, he's also said no chance that Millsap will return.

He has definitely been wrong on stuff before, but he does do great work and is pretty well informed.

I just find it hard to believe Hill would agree to come back. It would just be an awkward situation for him and Rubio. I think he goes to NYK or Denver. And if he breaks down an realizes he has to take a huge paycut to his expectations, he probably goes to San Antonio.

Active contracts are at 99 million. The rookies cap hold are 4 million and Haywards is 24 million I think. So that puts us around 127 million. We could drop all other cap holds, trade Burks and waive Diaw to get us down to around 110. Still over the cap limit to sign a FA but obviously under the luxury line.

Tony Jones doesn't appear to say anything that isn't well-sourced. Will miss Hill. I guess I hope his toe injury is really that bad for the sake of the Jazz's management of everything.

This may not be the best place for this thought but......

I hope that the BKN can make some moves go acquire some talent (at least whats left of it) and that the Jazz in what ever way possible help facilitate that, make that BOS pick as bad as possible. BKN has no motivation to tank since they don't own the pick and the East is looking pretty bad especially the bottom half so, why not, why not shoot to try and get the 8th seed in the East.

I would love it if some how the Jazz could keep HIll but realistically I know that's not likely so do some kind of JJ Reddick deal in a S&T with BKN would be the next best thing.

Sam Amick: While Danilo Gallinari has not made a decision, Clippers are trying to find a 3rd team w/ cap space for possible sign-and-trade with Denver – via Twitter sam_amick

So since both teams are over the cap they cant directly sign and trade with each other? If Jazz want to sign and trade players they would have to find a team with cap space as well?

Probably old news, but did anyone listen to Locke's pod from June 30? Said Blake Griffin was interested in playing for Utah. Utah was gonna sign and trade possibly Exum/Hood/whatever for Griffin to help accelerate their rebuild. But then the Clips traded CP3 and essentially chose Griffin over CP3.

Tony Jones says the G Hill train has left and under no circumstances is it returning.
I bet if his market value plummets low enough the Jazz will sign him and then trade him at the deadline or something like that.
