Well training camp is back and we are closing in on the 1st preseason game!

Unfortunately the injuries are starting to happen.

Shane Ray messed up his wrist and is out 6-8 for the Broncos.

Tannehill messed up the knee he chose to have surgically repaired. No timetable. That a hit to the Dolphins

Forrest lamp tore his ACL and is out for the season. Chargers cannot catch a break.

It sucks even worse when you bet 200 on the Fins O7.5 wins a couple weeks ago.

I think I still have a chance. They could go 3-3 in the division (possibly 4-2 but very doubtful) and would need to finish 5-5 outside of it...I of course haven't looked at their schedule though.

Browns fan... Pretty excited about the year ahead (its been awhile). I think our defense will be great but would be nice as far fetched as it is to have a healthy and functioning Josh Gordon out wide to help our offense.

Dolphins have the 6th toughest schedule.

8 wins is do'able though - that's just the kind of mediocrity we've come to expect out of Jay Cutler.

Some great games this season.

Seahawks v Packers
Packers v Falcons
Texans v Patriots
Giants v Bucs
Steelers v Chiefs
Falcons V Patriots
Broncos v Chiefs
Cowboys V Falcons
Pats v Steelers
Seahawks v Cowboys

I'm so ready for this season to start already.

You could still get there. Offense is pretty stacked with Ajayi at RB, Landry, Stills, Parker at WR and Julius Thomas at TE. The Defense will be "meh" but they were straight up bad last season. Your bet will hinge on whether or not Miami's Oline can get their **** together and keep Cutler upright. If they do, they'll probably hit 9 wins.

Jets lost their #1 WR, that might bode well for you Wes, makes it just a little easier for MIA to go 4-2 in conference. Personally as a Phins fan I am not sure who is better Moore or Cutler, on one hand Cutler has the better arm talent but Moore is more of a leader someone the team can rally behind just has that toughness about him.

Not that this is a good memory for anyone but Steeler fans but Moore came back into the game after this hit and complimented Dupree after the game for his hard hit.

The Jets offense had the potential of being historically bad even before Enunwa went down - who by the way isn't anything near a WR1 anywhere in the world except on The Jets depth chart.

If I was Matt Forte I'd demand a trade or just outright retire - they're going to put way too much work on his shoulders.

They still have bilal powell? I really like him

I think much of this has been wise tanking by their GM to get Darnold. Draft him next year, and start building around him and Adams.

Part of it is definitely intentional. I think Darnold is one of the best QB prospects of the last 10 years. The other part of it is simply the Jets being the Jets.

I think almost all of it has been tanking. He made no attempt to upgrade their worst qb situation in the league and lost his best two wideouts. Their offense is going to be pathetic. Like 10 points a game pathetic. And their defense isn't anything special. And he made no bold moves there either. When you're that bad, why try to sign free agets and get to 7-9? Just suck bad and hope you get Darnold (or even the kid from Wyoming), and then build through the draft with some Moneyball free agents.

Who is darnold?

Who is darnold?

The USC qb who went 10-0 (9-0?) in his starts as a redshirt froshlast year and as basically every tool you want in a qb. Mobile (all-state bball pg), strength, mechanics, accuracy, pocket presence. Dude looks born to play the position.

Though after his great comeback vs Penn State, they interviewed him and he's a sort of ugly, dumb sounding kid. Not saying he is or that he projects that way in the huddle or football-wise, but boy, he could improve in that regard.

Devonta Freeman and the Falcons just agreed to a 5 year deal that makes him the NFLs highest paid RB. According to Twitter.
