Calling a racist a racist is just fine. Not the point I made at all.

Calling ALL Trump supporters racists hurts your side, hurts our democracy.

Yeah, no. Maybe last year you could make the case that support of Trump isn't the same as support for bigotry. After all that has transpired this year I just don't see how that is possible.

Then I'd suggest that several posters get out and start talking to some Trump supporters. Bulletproof is right here.

I talk to Trump supporters daily. Just because they are not aware of their own bigotry doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

And just because you label them that way doesn't make it true.

Edit: of course there are some that are. I don't doubt that. But I find this line of attack being generally applied to be intellectually lazy.

****ing hell!

Did you guys all miss the several dozen rants I posted during the campaign where I went on about the racist element in Trump's base? Please don't educate me on the presence of racism in Trump's campaign strategy or the fact that if you were a member of a racist organization Trump represented your great white hope. I get it.

But to tell someone that because they support Trump they are a racist? It's counterproductive.

Well, for a bunch of non-bigots they seem to be pretty OK with a clearly bigoted Trump administration.

Where are all the non-bigoted Trump supporters calling for the removal of Seb Gorka and Steve Bannon from the white house?

As long as those men are in the administration, and as long as the Trump administration pursues racist and bigoted policies, Trump supporters will be called out for it. If they don't like that, then maybe they should consider pulling their support.

I'm not going to "play nice" as long as his supporters enable the destruction of my beloved country.

Those who want a scary insight into Bannon, should read the book "Devil's Bargain" it's a NY Times bestseller. Bannon is not only a deplorable racist, but he's a crazy *** attention seeker who wants to bring about anarchy. The dude crazy in the same "Ed Snowden/Matt Drudge F everything and everyone sort of way."

Fine, have at it. dont be surprised when you don't get anywhere and people tend to tone you out.

I'll bite.

Not all Trump supporters are racists. In fact, I think many more voted for him as a vote against the Clinton Dynasty and the GOP establishment.

However, many of his ardent supporters, who surged him in the polls after he came out insulting Mexicans, fueled him through the primaries, and then supported him in the general despite his awful Billie Bush tape, are racists.

I'm not talking about your neighbor who voted for Romney last time and leans conservative. They probably hoped he'd accomplish a few things after elected and are currently giving him a negative approval rating right now.

I'm talking about these Brietbart obsessed, meme posting, Alex Jones brainwashed, KKK marching in Virginia deplorables. How much of Trump's base actually consists of these radicals? I'm honestly not sure. And i'm not sure if there's a real adequate way of measuring. Maybe we'll find out in the polls at some point if his approval rating drops so bad that only his racist base likes him? I don't know.

But I think it's safe to say that Stoked that Donald's base is supported by more racism/racists than Obama's, Romney's, McCain's, or Bush's, right?

Trump's weak *** speech today torpedoes your argument. If he wasn't afraid of offending his most ardent supporters then why did he give such a weak *** speech?

He's not afraid of flying off the handle to insult the media or major world leaders.

But call put these racist scumbags for the cockroaches they are? Suddenly he gives a weak impotent too Politically correct response.

Trump either really believes in White Nationalism or really sees it as a political advantage for him. I tend to think he actually believes in White Nationalism. His appointees and his focus so far as President make it hard to draw any other conclusion.
