Yep. I posted a video earlier in this thread of a guy using only his hands, holding a handgun in a way that operates it the same way a bump stock works. It fired as if it was a fully automatic glock. Not to mention that others devices exist that give similar results.

The laws are going to have to be re-written to include any device that allows a weapon to be fired as if it were full auto.

could you please explain me how it is rewritten?

are you ignoring the fact that litterally i can literally print any kind of bumpstock in less then an hour!
it is like people are ignoring facts and just want laws and regulations just as a virtue signal. even though it means and does NOTHING!

Not really. I think what Dutch is implying here is that a psychopath who is willing to commit mass murder and die on the scene is unlikely to be deterred by the additional penalty of jail time or a fine for possessing illegal arms.

Did room service not notice the armory he was amassing in his hotel room? It seems like this is a hotel security issue among other things.

Just like Log pointed out, anyone who wants to modify a semi-auto to fire essentially as a full auto, will have no problem doing so. That still isn't a good reason to have items like bump stocks easily available.

As for how it is written, I don't know why I even bother responding to such a dumb question, but it will be NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER, to figure out how to ban full auto mods. How about just saying ANY MOD THAT ALLOWS FIRE AT A RATE OF <x> OR FASTER IS ILLEGAL?

Nothing irritates more than arguments about how it will be too difficult to figure something out, so let's not even try.

Modifying a semi into an auto is illegal. Bump stocks are more of a loophole to that law. They don't fit into the current modifications law.
 
A bunch of stories circulating on Youtube are claiming there were multiple shooters from the hotel. There are also claims of machine gun fire (loud, rapid rate of fire) rather than semi-automatic rifle fire.

What about when people post on a discussion forum what they are reading online directly after a terrorist attack while indicating they don't know if it's true or not? How much does that irritate you? Please quantify.

Right, got it. However, when a dozen or more independent sources report the same thing while citing different witnesses, it becomes a reasonable to add that info to the investigation. There's more to this story than the media are reporting, and it's strange that the media are so willing to make conclusions without doing their own thorough investigation. It's an important story after all.
