That'd be a weird place.
I'll take your response as an indication that you would like this to remain on the interwebs.
More stats, etc. during slow periods instead of blasé banter would be nice.
I'm quite certain he knows he is. He would have to if he has any self awareness right?NAOS back in traditional mid-season form. Figured it was only a matter of time.
Idea: maybe if poster after poster tell you that you're an *******-- guess what -- you're probably an *******.

you are such a loser
We've never had beef until now. You might reflect on your own **** in this thread, too.
No we haven't, and I do acknowledge my transgressions here.
But you started it.
I gave you back what you came looking for here.
I hope this is where our beef ends. But I need to know, it sounded like you were threatening with actions outside of this forum. Is there anything to that, or can we just agree to move on?
Let's make a comparison to music...
Craig is like a band who catches you unaware with one song with a decent hook. He gets you thinking, "Yeah, I could listen to more of that." The problem is, when you drill deeper, it isn't that good of a hook, and the rest of his album is the same **** over and over. And, when you listen for years of his ****, it's like "Damn, he's still playing that one song!" Look, O>D nailed it: it's bloody ****ing obvious that the dude has cared zero ****s about improving his knowledge of basketball. I've also added that his preparation for each specific game is just straight-up lazy. He thinks his 'pipes' are the key. To finish the metaphor, he's kinda like a poor-man's Carlos Santana... fated to play the same ****ing licks over and over. ****ing clown.
Remember when Locke was calling Summer League games with him? Locke was a mother-****ing mental giant in that context. I would take Locke 100 times out of 100 over Boler, even with all the shill. At least I might learn something. Boler hasn't taught me one ****ing thing in 10 years. Not one.
So, who is Harpring in the analogy, the old bass guitarist from a band that had a few hits back in the day but is now satisfied with just doing session work?
Hot Rod Hundley, therefore, would have been Frank Zappa - weird and kind of creepy, but the MF can outright PLAY. And Ron Boone would have been someone like Bootsy Collins.
From what I read in this thread it seems like most people seem to think our guys are preferable to other teams broadcasters that they have listened to. So most think our guys are "ok" but the announcers of other teams are horrible. If that is in fact true then would that not mean top tier? Ok > horrible right?I was somewhat confused by the initial believed to be positive responses to Bolerjack in this thread but now I think I've got a little clearer idea of general consensus on the man from a still small sample size. The spectrum ranges from disgust to "eh he's average, I don't care one way or another, he purty cool" with only one or two "he's awesome".
So can we agree at most he's damn well average (with a few of us thinking he's clearly below average)? Now, do you think a organization that prides itself on excellence and making their fans happy (guess we can debate that as well) would like to hear that the vast majority of it's fanbase thinks the figure head of their broadcast (which is the way the majority of the fanbase consume their product) is damn well average at BEST. I think they'd want to be top tier in ever aspect of their operation and would use that to guide Boler to improving or moving on to someone who's willing to improve or act more engaging that would raise to the bar.

Of course they will not be the best announcers around as they are Jay announcing for a local team and I would assume that the best, highest paid announcers would do national games for espn, tnt, abc, etc.
More evidence that maybe we don't have it so bad.Marv Albert and Chris Webber are terrible. Should have seen how much they botched the end of the Houston-Golden State game. Even Bolerjack wouldn't have screwed up as bad as they did.

A lot of people hated bill Walton too. I have heard lots of complaints about Reggie miller and mark Jackson as well.
I think Mike tericho (I think that's his name) is probably my favorite. The jazz should just hire him.
They should also get lebron next summer. I mean we want to be a great organization right?

I wasn't threatening anything. You accused me of being an tough internet guy, and I said we could meet offline if you wanted. Where's the aggression in that?
or can we just agree to move on?
I'm not really concerned about judgments about me around here, btw. I stand behind my points, doe.
