If I want insightful info, I can tune unto Locke. If I want to listen to the call of the game that is easier on my ears, I can listen to Boler. I sometimes enjoy his banter with Harp, and I also do enjoy his voice and enthusiasm. I don't consider myself a fan (but maybe you define it differently), but I'm not a hater.

for my notes on your points (thanks, finally, btw):
*un-insightful, but easy listening
*occasionally enjoyable banter with is color guy
*voice (and enthusiasm)... kinda the same point

ok. pretty low bar. but ok.

Good job

It isn't too much to ask the Boler fans to explain why they like him. Your explanations thus far have been zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

He has great pipes.
He calls the plays well.
He gets me excited, as a viewer during intense moments.
Provides me with substantial information on players, teams and coaches. He may not go as deep as a guy like Locke, but I don't need that to enjoy a game.
His passion for the Jazz.
How respected he is in the broadcasting community. We're lucky to have him.

Ok, go ahead and tell me how superior your counter points are and how you'd figure I like him and now I'm intellectually inferior, a racist, a fascist, a white supremacist, xenophobic, etc.

Your research is awesome, per usual.

I remember you hating on the populist tide that carried Trump to office. But when populism serves your interests, you're fine with it.

#milquetoast, folks.

You missed the part of my post when I said I don't care one way or the other. I don't have an interest in this debate silly.

ok, thanks for chiming in, though! Nothing like getting involved in something you'll eventually milquetoast your way out of. Appreciate it.

I know. Thankfully I like living with myself.

That'd be a weird place.

I'll take your response as an indication that you would like this to remain on the interwebs.

You have a way of saying things that you clearly may know what you mean, but I sure dont clearly know what you mean.

1. It is patently fair to disagree with this because of his low level of knowledge for the game.
2. That's cool. I'm glad you have that with him. For real.
3. It is patently fair to disagree with this because he doesn't actually share a lot of information on the opponent. Over the past 3 years I've listened almost entirely to enemy broadcasts, and MOST do better than him in this regard. Definitely above 70ish%
4. Ok. Vague.
5. The broadcasting community in Utah is lol, dude. I'm related to Bruce Lindsey and I can tell you that he's about as respected as it gets but has very little to say that isn't moral or banal. Loves to talk about family genealogy, doe. Dick Norse? lol.

Had to. I'm #milquetoast man! It's what I do.

I like him. He gets pumped up at the appropriate moments and is comfortable to spend 82 games listening to. Could he be better with bringing the knowledge/more background? Absolutely. More stats, etc. during slow periods instead of blasé banter would be nice. The production team needs to feed him if it's not in him to do the research.

Things I like about Boler:

1. Voice
2. When he says "Houdini"
3. When he says "If you got the hammer use it"
4. When he says "buckle up"
5. When he uses "skip pass" incorrectly and I imagine how annoyed NAOS is at it

Thanks for expanding my vocab

You are a condescending A butt hole to the end.

Ok.

You can say ******* on here. It is totally allowed and encouraged. ******* ******* ******* *******. You cannot say mother****ing ******* because the mother****ing part gets bleeped out, digitally speaking.

We've never had beef until now. You might reflect on your own **** in this thread, too.

NAOS back in traditional mid-season form. Figured it was only a matter of time.

Idea: maybe if poster after poster tell you that you're an *******-- guess what -- you're probably an *******.
