Heck, my biggest complaint with him used to be his amazing tendency to call a 2 point shot a 3, but I haven't even noticed that this much this year. But it's early.

Let's make a comparison to music...

Craig is like a band who catches you unaware with one song with a decent hook. He gets you thinking, "Yeah, I could listen to more of that." The problem is, when you drill deeper, it isn't that good of a hook, and the rest of his album is the same **** over and over. And, when you listen for years of his ****, it's like "Damn, he's still playing that one song!" Look, O>D nailed it: it's bloody ****ing obvious that the dude has cared zero ****s about improving his knowledge of basketball. I've also added that his preparation for each specific game is just straight-up lazy. He thinks his 'pipes' are the key. To finish the metaphor, he's kinda like a poor-man's Carlos Santana... fated to play the same ****ing licks over and over. ****ing clown.

Remember when Locke was calling Summer League games with him? Locke was a mother-****ing mental giant in that context. I would take Locke 100 times out of 100 over Boler, even with all the shill. At least I might learn something. Boler hasn't taught me one ****ing thing in 10 years. Not one.

Thank you, exactly my thoughts. Locke can be a shill for the team sometimes and he can overemphasize some weird minutiae that doesn't really matter, but at least you can sometimes learn something from him about an opponent, about your own team or players... With Boler... I don't even care to listen to him. There is absolutely nothing he contributes to the viewer besides background noise.

I have a question for the Boler fans:

What is that dude's perspective on literally anything?

I'm serious, he's as close to a zero as a public figure can get.

TheBigTicket23:
I have always liked listening to Craig Bolerjack and Matt Harpring. They have great knowledge, are realistic, and bring the broadcast with a bit of humor.

I think yesterday they were extremely respectful and good to our players, coaches and team.

Sometimes I think Mike & Tommy can learn a thing or two from them, especially Tommy, although we all love them :)

I recommand listening to these guys, who are broadcasting a nice up and coming team like the Celtics!

I can post a ton of these from lots of forums. He's well respected and I feel the Jazz are lucky to have him broadcast for a small market team. I understand why you don't like him. Hey, I don't like Locke's play-by-play, but when you get to the point of being condescending about one not minding Bolerjack it's a lil much. Get over yourself.

Don't know. Don't care.
Also don't know or care about bill Waltons perspective on anything or Jeff van gundys, or Mark jacksons or any other announcer on the planet.

They just talk about what is going on on the basketball court while I watch a game. Not really a big deal to me.

Ha. Youre the one with no point, only assertions. I'm still waiting for Boler's score and how that compares to his peers.

Do you know what a "point" is? I'm making claims and outlining the grounds for my assertions. That's 100 times more than you've done; and it's fully fair to call them points.

It isn't too much to ask the Boler fans to explain why they like him. Your explanations thus far have been zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bolerjack's voice is silly smooth. He can get away with saying silly things. Harping, not so much.

Bolerjack >>> Harpring >> Ron Boone >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> David "Fred Figglehorn", the nasaly know it all Locke.

I said "you're the one with no point" to mean that you haven't said anything I haven't thought of before. Back up your assertions with some evidence, and then we'll see if you have a point or not.
