Even going by nba.com's less accurate measurements that use an estimated # of possessions instead of an exact amount, his offensive rating is 101.1 and his defensive rating is 101.6.

Mitchell's TS% is suffering because of an abysmal first few games. But in the month of November, it's at 52.1%, which is actually decent for a rookie shooting as much as he does.

NBA Reference has him at a 92 offensive rating.

The big difference is obviously that Mitchell had a horrific start and has picked it up since then. But also just how he is doing it. He's a much more impressive athlete, he's a much better defender (or at least has a much higher ceiling). Burke has major limitations. But I agree that he hasn't arrived at all yet. He still has some things to improve on. His shot selection, his overall shooting, his finishing, his decision making, his defense. Still he's a MUCH better prospect than Burke.

Yeah but it's still way too early and dumb to compare him anywhere near the level of Gobert.

Isn't that his teammates bringing his offensive game up then? What Gobert provides offensively is being erased this season. Teams have figured him out. Until he can punish a team for guarding him on the roll with a PG then he'll continue to struggle to provide help offensively.

Uh, no. Teams didn't figure him out. He was the best roller in the NBA last season. It's the personnel surrounding him.
 
I remember when Cappy Smurf laughed at me for asking if Gobert was the best center in the game against the Nuggets. Jokic is playing like a beast this year and just got player of the week. He's 3 years younger than Gobert too.
