A week is a long time in sport.

I dont see it though. I think the FO value the culture there more than a top 5 pick.

I also think they are uber confident at evaluating talent and bringing the right guys in so they see little/no advantage in tanking. Especially when you never know the true cost until years later.

Agreed on both points. I'd add that they are super confident in their ability to develop the talent they find.

True, but it's even better. Unlike a usual superstar, he's under contact for about 8 years.

Utah has an amazing young squad. Gobert is a beast.

Looking like a fun season in the league, despite all the injuries.

Yesterday was pretty good. Grizzlies lost, which is fine. Wolves beat Clippers, but that's kinda win-win, as the Clippers aren't out of it if Griffin comes back soonish. Nuggets lost to Pels, which is a wash as well.
