Absolutely. But I like the idea of capturing the mountain skyline again in one of our uniforms, and the color scheme is fairly unique.

For what it's worth, someone on reddit who works for Fanzz and has provided good information in the past said this is NOT what the final jersey will look like, and that the final product is awesome.

Right? Many of us here have been on the "Purple Mountains Majesty" bandwagon for ages, even before this whole Nike unveiling thing was a twinkle in someone's eye.

TBH, green and purple don't really have much to do with the state of Utah. I guess the point of these jerseys is to show something off that is meaningful to the area the team is in. I kind of like the callout to the Southern part of the state. They are just going to do something different in a couple of years anyway. Also, they seem pretty unique rather than just going gray like half of the other teams in the league. Also, they are not completely annoying like the San Antonio camo.

I wonder if the Pelicans will do something with Green, Purple, and Yellow?

I think we'll get them in the next year or two. Nike seems to want to have a ton of jerseys for every team. There were like 5 teams that got throwbacks this season, and I wouldn't be surprised if they expanded it to more teams in the future.
