Sure did. Thought the remarks in that piece suggested the changes might go beyond the colors of one kit, though. I had figured speculation that the icon and association editions would remain relatively unchanged was true. Not so sure now. If there is no mountains throwback option, in my opinion, that will mean that everything they've said about listening to the fans has been total lip service.

I don't think that's fair to say. I want no part of the mountains and a good amount of Jazz fans that I talk about it with agree with me. However, that doesn't mean that I think I'm part of the majority. I don't think we've seen any definitive, accurate case study that tells us what most Jazz fans want. Maybe, just maybe, Nike and the Utah Jazz have?
Check the twitter timeline leading up to the 1997 finals team voctory lap last season. Not an insignificant number of people clammoring for throwbacks.
