Regarding Joe Johnson....

I think the coach is trying to let him play his way into a rhythm. Perhaps because Quin feels they will need Joe to perform to get them into the playoffs, or perhaps because Dennis wants Joe to perform so they can trade him to a playoff bound team in February.

Because Ty has proven to be such a great head coach when given the chance. I'm sure had Ty been head coach last season, the Jazz would have beaten the Warriors and Cavs, winning the championship and Hayward wouldn't have left. Surprised you haven't made this claim.I'd say something crude about your love for Ty, but I get the feeling you two are related. Son?

Pretty certain Quin had a reason for not playing Donovan, whether it was fatigue, illness or performance. And I'll bet he talked to Mitchell about it.

Seriously, if Ty were the head coach, DM would likely have been sent down to the DLeague after his early season performances, with barely a word from Ty. I think it was Raja who pointed out Ty didn't communicate with the young players. After a great performance, Kanter once found himself glued to the bench the next game, without any explanation from Corbin. Of course, in Ty's defense, he learned that from Sloan.

For the love of god he didn't have a bad game. Look at his stats for 21 minutes. And recognize a few of those minutes were after too long of a sit.
 
Quin had his reason, but his reason is bull ***** unless Don was hurt.

Or unless we're tanking.

He also drew the short stick and got Ariza as a defender much of the night.

So let me get this straight. The Jazz head coach, a man frequently lauded for his player development methods and skills, decides to only play Mitchell for 20 minutes one time and you are passing judgment like this?

Hahaha, your armchair coaching needs to tone it down a little. Sure you can have an opinion on things, we all do, but lmfao. I think Snyder has earned the benefit of the doubt here.

It's a shame his skills and smarts have been unappreciated by three NBA franchises.
