Judge tossed the case and set them free. Over the prosecutors and FBI suppressing evidence and what not in court. Like snipers around the Bundy home.

So I’m living in a pro-Bundy area and I’ll bring up the same idea I did to people in my area. I expect roughly the same response.

Is this where the Bundys start reaching out to people form other protest groups? Such as the Black Lives Matter org?

Think of the media storm of a couple dozen Bundys and supporters are seen in a BLM march?

Yes I’m crazy but there is the potential for power there.

Yeah, good old Cliven can explain to the BLM folks why they would be better off as slaves... while being a torch bearer for liberty and freedom... Should be some power there...

lolz, why. bundys are for small liberty government. blm is about muh free socialist stuff!

This was such a huge blunder by Obama. He should have taken a page out of George Washington's book and made this his modern day Whiskey Rebellion. They knew this was coming and should have sent in 100 sniper teams and such an overpowering force to quell this rebellion and insurrection. Everyone there should have already been tried for the 10 year maximum sentence. I'm guessing most those thugs who sent women ahead of them would be parole violators and would get much, much more time than that.

all charges dismissed, but yet the guy is still dead!

A death entirely avoidable. Him running the check point was dangerously idiotic. Also I watched the video of his death numerous times and have my questions to be sure but he acted foolishly and it led to his own death. Just like we see in so many other police shootings. Fighting and running is not the answer.

If you feel your rights are being violated, fine. Ok. Get a lawyer and sue the hell out of them. People win cases like that all the time. But fighting and/or running usually leads to gun fire.

That presents its own problem to be sure but don't kick a snake and then be surprised you got bit.

I know i was being sarcastic.

The Bureau of Land Management, if properly checked out, would likely prove to be a racist outfit. No where near enough blacks on the payroll. Even in the Southern Nevada unit that oversees Clark County. And, likely the administration of the Homestead Act over the hundred and fifty years of its history, is woefully off target on proportionate treatment of the races. The native Americans were long denied access to it at all on the claim they were not real "citizens" and belonged on the Res. Pretty sure blacks were sorta on the outs too. Well, maybe except for Kansas and South Dakota, where I've been told there were a lot of blacks who proved up on the Homestead Act allotments.

oh hell, you meant BLM=Black Lives Matter. my bad......

So the case there is even more clear-cut. You got this Nazi criminal thug George Soros spending millions via bitcoin dispersals to organize a racist outbreak intended clearly to put blacks' lives in jeopardy by inciting them to do violence against the police.

people duped by THAT "BLM" would indeed be much better off if they just stayed home to watch Oprah. Slaves to their guvmint support that keeps them on the WalMart bubble. It's a sort of plantation, an urban plantation, with managers doing the rounds to keep them voting for racist dems each election, helping them to register and get out to the polls and such, but pretty much "owned" by the dems.

When I was a kid, Bullet, some Bundys lived right across the street. Cliven is their cousin. Used to play neighborhood games. One of those was my boss in a chemistry lab some years later. They're not actually stupid people.

We have Paiute Indians who used to come in from the City Park when it rained(rarely, admittedly), and I'd find them there when I went out to milk the cows. When they were there, mom used to send me back with a plate of bacon, eggs, toast, and a pitcher of orange juice. Once in a while there were some blacks who showed up, too.

I don't think you appreciate the idea as it appears to people who have access to the land, who can put some cows out to graze, to go into town and see a whole street of black folk sitting on their doorsteps doing nothing. We got a big country. Why the hell wouldn't the blacks be better off running cows on the land instead of hunching over the welfare lady's desk filling out stupid applications????

welfare, being on the dole..... and kept off the land.... is indeed our modern slavery.

I'm sure this isn't news to you.... sure there's somebody who tried to explain it to you. A lot of people have looked at the Finicum shooting videos and see it as he had no gun, he had his hands up, he was shot in the lower abdomen and reflexively reached at the wound. He was also shot from behind. A lot of folks call it murder. Does "Hands Up Don't Shoot" mean anything to you????

The wrongful death lawsuit is going forward.

As I understand, "misstrial" allows the charges to be tried again. Unless some parts have been dismissed with prejudice, which is the judges way of saying "You will not bother me again with this nonsense".

The Whiskey Rebellion was a bunch tax rebels. Didn't think Fed govt should pass that kind of tax.... it wasn't a power granted in the US Constitution. 13000 militiamen.... twenty arrests.... all overturned in court and released. Sure doesn't sound like an example of how to enforce a law, really. Overall, no more convincing that the Reid attempt to clear the way for his Chinese collaborators in business to pave the spread with solar panels dirt cheap, without buying out the grazing interests.

Bundy's claim private property in the form of grazing rights that pre-date any Act of Congress regarding the area.

I read some of this, but not all of it...

I am indirectly related to those Bundy's, My Aunt who was my father's closest sibling is married to a Bundy who lives in Fredonia, Arizona. When I was a kid I would go down there for two or three weeks every summer and stay with them. They had horses so they'd be sure to get us city kids (my sister and I) on some horses. One year we were down there at the same time as the Bundy family reunion. We went with them to the Bundy ranch and participated in the family reunion. There were easily over 1000 people there. Anyway, I have weird indirect associations to things sometimes too, babe.

I do have questions. Such as why is a federal agent, on foot, that far from a roadblock (hundreds and hundreds of feet) in the forest in thigh high snow? Seems like a very suspicious place to be.

But the fact still remains that he ran a road block and then jumped out of his truck and stumbled through the snow. The video I saw was hardly conclusive of if he was shot before or after the first time his hands went to his waist area. He was stumbling through thigh deep snow.

Also, the case was dismissed with prejudice.

Man that one dude was murdered. Plan and simple. At most they should have tranquilized him or used some other non lethal means.

I'm on the fence about how I should feel about this. Half of me feels they got let off the hook and the situation was idiotic. The other half of me feels bad, sorry for them and their situation. It's been a while since I've read up on them, but the stories I read were absolutely bizarre and disgusting bullying from the government. Especially the son and dad case in Oregon.

The tarp guy who got shot dead was extremely sad to me. He was a great guy and in my opinion, was completely baited and his death was avoidable not only from him, but by the feds.

This is a short video of the person witness account of what happened. There is a longer, way more in depth one on youtube that goes over the POV of the LaVoy and the other passengers in the car the day he was wacked. It's crazy to me.

Legit question

Is this your stance on all of the other police related deaths? Such as Mike Brown, Walter Scott or Eric Garnier?

Situation was idiotic. Especially the whole Oregon Refugee thing. But I have read some of the court released proof about the FBI plans that were with held. If that is legit info they went nuts and way, way, way overboard. Like snipers around the Bundy home and calling for MRAPs (military grade, anti IED proof vehicles) to be used.

I think all parties involved made some extremely poor choices and it led to all of this we have now. Including LaVoy Finnicum's death.
