Clippers wanting that Brooklyn pick for DJ makes Favs + a combination of JJ, Burks, Udoh, Hood, Rubio for a K.Love a more realistic possibility.

We could take a contract If they did Love and their 1st.

I don't think the Cavs are going to trade anybody who helps them win this year. Expendable guys are Shumpert, Osman, Zizic, Calderon, and Frye. They can trade those guys and not be questioned for "shaking up the roster" or getting desperate. At the end of the day, taking anything away from LeBron is sending the wrong sign.

I feel that Frye, Osman (who doesn't help them win now or soon) and their pick (late 20's) is very fair for expiring Favors. Favors can play with Tristan now and down the road with Love. He's a perfect fit. And if LeBron leaves, they don't have to worry about paying Favors.

Maybe but only if they strike out. However, it’s hard from a PR standpoint to go from trading him for a first to trading him for first rounders. They could keep him and let him expire out of pride (people will poohpooh this but people shoot themselves in the foot all the time).

I think, though, that we don’t really value him much.
