Royce O'Neale Over Bolomboy

Look, I get it. I would take Royce over Bolomboy knowing now what we know, but

You were so close. You were doing just fine, and then...

I have no hesitation taking Bolomboy over Neto, and it's not impossible to think that Bolomboy could end up being better then Royce

Anyway, I'll leave it at that. You still believe in the guy's potential. I don't. I hope he finds a home somewhere though.

Also let me say that although I strongly disagree with you, I appreciate the fact that you defended your views respecting others, refraining from name calling. And even if it meant getting stranded on Bolomboy's island, all by yourself.

C'mon now...Bolomboy is not "elite" at rebounding. And rebounding is a good skill, don't get me wrong, but if that's the only thing you're actually good at, you aren't gonna make it.

And Udoh is an elite defender. Not great, elite. If he had at least an average offensive game, he's in the race for DPOY for some team.
I said great defender regarding Udoh just as a choice of words and not as an indication that I think he’s great and not elite — I do think he’s elite, as I’ve argued that I believe we’re better off with him getting all backup C minutes in the setting of having a stretch four.

In any case, Bolomboy really is an elite rebounder. Last year’s squad really lacked rebounding (even though the numbers show otherwise), and it was tough without Gobert and relying on Favors to be the only rebounder. I would pump Bolomboy because Lyles and Boris were killing us on the glass. Obviously there’s more to the game and Boris brought a lot of positives, but we were getting killed on the glass.

Wow TJF! So I'm a joke and an immature ignoramus? Well ok, I have, on occasion, heard similar sentiments. I heartily disagree that I derailed the thread though, that was totally uncalled for.

Bolomboy might be a better rebounder than Lyles/Diaw (not that hard) but he is not an elite NBA rebounder. Please.
How would you define elite? It’s hard to compare with his limited time on the floor, but his TRB% has been consistent through college, D-League, and limited NBA minutes, and it’s about on par with Rudy. Having that come from the four spot is something I’d consider elite.

How the hell would u know he's not elite?? He hasn't had enough court time for even Quin to figure that out. One thing we do know is he was elite in college, and rebounding in college is usually an indicator for how well they will rebound in the NBA. He's also been good in G league.

I wanted to keep griffin

How would you define elite?.

Oh no, lol. Once I used 'elite' to describe Danny Green's defense and I think it went 4 full pages with people trying to define it with their own subjectives views, random statistics and who is elite in the most unthinkable random categories. You can even start a whole new thread about "Is Mirotic shooting elite???" (See what I did there?...don't took the bait! ha)

Maybe we should include elite on the list of JFC filtered words haha. Like ************ or *******. What about using 'outstanding' or 'superb' or even 'very good' instead.

And yet, we still should've kept him
