The Utah Jazz reach the post-season for the second consecutive year, a year in which they were counted out after having lost their leading scorer. The Jazz now face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder are not the first round opponent we deserve, but their the first round opponent we need right now. So we’ll beat them. Because they can take it. Because they’re not heroes…

Ricky Rubio reaches the playoffs for the first time in 7 years. On draft night he exclaimed…

But his train derailed, and he was consistently thrown off. Determined, Ricky found himself a new mentor…

But Donovan took Ricky under his wing. He taught him how to be bad, teaching him rhythm, how to be loose with his release, and turning him in to Steph Curry. Ricky learns how to shake it, but not break it.

carmelo goes for 55 this is 2009 and okc win.
mitchell score 12 on absurd 4/19 shooting.

should be a great series considering the matchups.
if rubio can't hit open shots it is over from the beginning.
i hope mitchell establish himself as a superstar after this series, and come next year even better.

i am not a okc fan. i am a jazz fan and a MELO fan. hope jazz trades for melo to rot the bench.

I’m excited. Really anxious to see how we respond after the Portland game. Kind of worried about the refs. Don’t care how they call it, whether it’s tight or they let everything go. Just want to see consistent calls on both ends.
 
Infection the ****ing man...was looking forward to this thread. Mad props for the See No Evil Hear No Evil reference. I forgot they had Gene Wilder in blackface. Oy vey times have changed!

The profanity filter is ridiculous, Infection. One of the Jazz's all-time great heroes' favorite words was **** -- of course, everyone knows who I'm talking about, Jerry Sloan. You would think after George Carlin's routine, "The Seven Dirty Words," people would be less rigid about profanity. It's outdated. Sure words have power and are indicative of deep-seated emotion, and they can be hurtful. But I think the nursery rhyme we heard as kids makes the most sense: "Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me."
