What are everyones thoughts on where Kawhi ends up and if you were the Spurs who would you target in return.

1) Boston:
Kawhi for Jalen Brown and a 1st.
* Jalen Brown has all the makings to be a Kawhi lite.

2) LA Lakers:
Kawhi for Ingram and Lonzo Ball
* Ingram for the potential and the incoming FAs will play the same position. Ball will be great and will be a nice fit in that system.


Side note:

Can anyone else smell the stench of Danny Ainge when it comes to Kawhi sitting??
 
Don’t salaries have to match?
If so Jaylen brown doesn’t work. Haywad and a pick might doe
 
LA, but he's not going for Ball and Ingram. Lol. I never thought I'd say this, but dude is a bum. What a douche.

That would be awesome for so many reasons. Not the least of which would be that he'd have to face the Jazz 4 times a year. Also, he'd be competing for all-star spots in the west. Without his dad, I mean coach Brad, I don't think he could handle it. It might break him.
 
Hayward and one of the firsts/Smart for Kawhi? If I'm Boston and I can get Kawhi for Hayward and a secondary player or pick....I mean you gotta take that right?

Yes. Kahwi >> haywad (maybe should even be Kahwi >>> haywad. Kahwi was like a top 3 player and mvp candidate)

Yeah, this has been such a weird year in regard to Kahwi. He's right up there with the best in the NBA but his stock is LOOOOW right now. I generally give players the benefit of the doubt when it comes to injuries and missing games. Thier body is their entire career. If they don't feel right I think they should do what they feel like they need to do. But it just seems like Kahwi is done with SA and that's crazy because he's won a championship with them.
 
Damn I wish we could bring him to Utah. His position is perfect and his D would just add to the Utah buzz saw.
 
Stays in san antonio, marries tim duncan, maybe they have kids, i dunno, tim's a little old but he has the hips for it

Would be fantastic no doubt. It would take a hell of a package to do it, not sure anyone less than DM or Gobert would even get them to answer the phone. We have nothing beyond that the could want. Favors? Kind of redundant with LMA. It's nice to think about it though. We would be all-time-all-world for D.
 
As much as I like Ingles, imagine these past 2 games with Kawhi in place of Ingles on this squad. I say we would be 2-0 with an average point differential of +22.

If the key pieces are Jaylen Brown and Kawhi, then outside of Hayward, Irving, and Horford, you can just run down the salary list from highest to lowest and this is the easiest option (ignore Baynes as he’s expiring):

Seriously after what he's pulled with the Spurs?!?!

I heard he wants out because he's fed up with system basketball and wants to go more freestyle and wants in a big market. The only way it would work in Utah is if the signed him as a free agent. It would not go well if Leonard was forced to come here via trade

Talking about trading for KL is a waste of time and intelligence
