I think it's pretty clear Burks should play over Exum if Exum is too scared to take open 3's.
At this point, Exum doesn't appear to have the self-confidence to play in big moments.I think it's pretty clear Burks should play over Exum if Exum is too scared to take open 3's.
It just sucks for him. He missed most of the year and he comes back in the thick of a playoff race where the Jazz really cant afford to have him try stuff out and take risk. He played well, but it was just his game of using his speed to get to the rim. In the playoffs it just doesnt work because how a defense can scheme for him. Houston is a better defensive team than the Thunder too, so I dont know if it will get any easier for him.At this point, Exum doesn't appear to have the self-confidence to play in big moments.
thiisI was wearing my Burks t-shirt today. Maybe it brought him luck ... lol.
I do think that last night's game was avoidable by making about 5 more shots. We went into junk mode and missed 15 out of 16 three pointers. I think that Quin could have put AB and Neto in for a few minutes to freshen up the starters and get a change of pace. You can't fault Quin for trusting his guys, but when all else fails, try something...
AB could have been our hero last night IMHO. Even if he isn't the guy moving forward for the Jazz.
I was wondering the same thing. I’d probably feel more confident in Burks than Exum right now. Hopefully Rubio is okay and we don’t need to fill his 36 minutes per game.Do you guys thing AB is in the rotation for the Houston series now?
