ESPN homerizing the "victim all star" again

What are you talking about? The "***** *** bitch" comments?
Among some and referencing players as "husband" to be derogatory and dis on them. But yes we have plenty of derogatory female terms to call people weak, its in sports everywhere it just makes it funnier in this thread when someone is trying to argue they arent racists so they switch it up.

Nah, its not referencing that and its not funny. But people will keep using that term and hundreds of others that have nothing to do with dogs.

But this is not a Jazz topic so drop out of this topic in here.

I don't think anyone here is weighing the context of that moment appropriately: the season just ended on a controversial no-call, and some pudgy turd put a phone two inches from his face.

Where the line is is case-by-case, and in your specific scenario, no, that's not over the line. It's not dehumanizing.
If the phone is two inches from his face, Westbrook's head is literally an inch wide.

Come on. He was a few inches from his ****in face after a controversial, season-ending defeat. The contest is over, there is nothing to show for being a dick to the other team except to show everyone you're being a dick.
I keep seeing this repeated here and elsewhere and its just not true.

He wasn't a few inches from his face, he was at least a foot and a half. Is that too close? Yeah probably, but it's like not he was much closer than fans usually are when trying to get a high five or whatever when guys go through the tunnel.

I'm saying would you say that to him on the street. Like if you saw him in a back alley in Utah at night after the game, would you say "Hey Russ, you acted like a real pussbag bitch tonight"?

What an incredibly stupid line of questioning/argument. What are you going to ask next, "would you be clapping and making noise if Westbrook missed a shot when playing street ball?"

Aside from some white people who like to be racist there are others that get off being patronizing scolds. Some of them even spend all day on internet message boards making sure they bring "sanity" to the discussion by being a perpetual wet blanket.

Good hell. Life moves on. Fan was a jackass? It’s known to happen. Player gets pissed at fan? Nice. I liked Rodney Hood’s phone slap. I actually more sided with Russ vs. the douchebag in Denver or wherever that screamed in his face. I’d actually like to see a bit more passion from some players/coaches and throwing chairs and ****. Not at people but throwing them nonetheless. Life happens and then life moves on. Westbrook and thisnother guy caught in the moment? The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. As long as nobody is hurt, we need more fan and player back-and-forth. Westbrook didn’t do jack **** to this guy, and from the guy’s interview he acknowledges this, and this guy really didn’t do jack **** to him, either, but isncertainly obnoxious. Life has a way of course correcting things like that, and if that comes in the form of a Westbrook hand slap, then he’s free to reconsider or double down.

Need moar:

Lighten up.

That has nothing to do with misogyny. It's simply an insult to a member of the stronger sex. Bitch and ***** (p-word) have nothing to do with belittling women at all. Men are historically the protectors and supposed to sacrifice their life for their family. Calling someone a bitch is an insult to the man, not the woman.

Or are saying "women, children, and the elderly evacuate first" is wrong because equality yada yada yada?

Do you think there's any difference between high-fiving someone and treating someone like a child does an animal at the zoo?

Well, the players are there to be watched, like I said the fan probably got too close but he wasn't 'inches away' like you said.

12 inches. When you're out of your mind pissed off and a stranger starts filming you because they think it's funny, tell me how neat it is.

I seriously do not understand why anyone wants to be on record defending that dude. It was ******, it made me feel embarrassed for him and that I cheer for the same team.

You sure cross-examined the hell out of me on that, counselor.
Lol, dude my only point was that you were exaggerating how close the fan got with the camera. You can just admit you were wrong about that and go away now.

Thats one of your dumber posts but like I said this has nothing to do with the Jazz so I wont harp on it in here.
