Casey did nothing to deserve it compared to Snyder, McMillan or Stevens. leading teams like Jazz or Pacers which were suppose to be lottery teams to playoffs is way more impressive than adding few more wins to already 50+ win team. Its his assistant Nick Nurse who changed their offence which Casey is being credited as "changing the culture"( although in playoffs they reversed to their old habits and got swept by trash Cavs team because of Casey being outcoached like some noob). Hilarious that anyone could think Stevens isnt a great coach. Just like Quin, someone has to develop that talent: Tatum, Brown, Rozier, Smart. Those are all great young players developed under Stevens. He's gotten the most out of Morris. He's melded that team into one of the top defenses in the league. Boston has won a number of games down the stretch. Not to mention having to pivot several times due to injuries.

You'd have to make the same argument for Quin not deserving votes: he has the likely DPOY and top rookie. Has one of tje best 3pt shooters in Ingles. Solid PF and a very good PG. Nope, Quin shouldn't get any credit for his coaching.
