Defense isn’t as much of a worry when you have Rudy behind you.Greyson can't guard most 1's or several 2's. His offense isn't the problem. Defense is my worry.

Why not post Weaknesses as well though?

Bro these "fans" are clueless. Grayson is a system player, and hes going to suit his role perfectly on this team. We need a microwave type guy who can put us some quick points on the board and Grayson Allen is that guy. I hate our fanbase sometimes..Inmates and asylum? What kind of dumb analogy was that?
I’m fine if we run it back as I feel there’s little available currently, whether through trade or FA, though we need to move on from Favors. I’m not seeing a very good solution at the four, but I think it’s time to move on and we don’t need to force that, even if we don’t have a solution.Aside from this disappointing pick, are we really just going to “run it back” at this point? I hope not. A significant move has to be made between this offseason and next offseason to take this team to another level. Bringing back this exact same team isn’t going to beat the Warriors/Rockets/pending Lebron landing spot. You can’t plan for when the Warriors run out of gas, you have to try and win now and take a chance now when you have the cap flexibility you have before 3 years is gone and Donovan is on a max contract which takes away all flexibility.
Local radio/Locke talked about Allen a lot and I got the feeling it was coming unfortunatly. Now you have media/Dennis sounding like they’re going to try and bring back the same team. That’s just doesn’t cut it if you’re going to take that next step. Once Donovan is on that max contract (which he fully will deserve, and I want him to get it) you lose cap flexibility and you become the Wizards or Portland stuck in the middle with no financial flexibility. Time to make a bold move Dennis. The Favors/Gobert lineup can win some ball games but it isn’t beating Houston or GS in a 7 game series.

They only had 500k this year so the trade likely happens after July 1... we could have packaged our cash plus 52 and moved up... but for the 3rd time in 4 years we sold the pick for cash. Last year we didn’t because we used it to jump two spots...
We are a very profitable franchise... I hope our reporters ask this question and are bold about it.

It's moves like these that makes me question whether we are all that serious about winning the Championship.
It sounds very much like a full run it back situation... said we want to retain our three internal FAs... so Neto, Favs, Exum...
Then we have the thre NG contracts... my guess is we pick two of them to bring back and have one open roster spot.
Huh so DM texted "Grayson at 21" to the jazz FO before the draft. DM the GM.

Yeah, low ceiling is what I see. Would have been really happy with DD for whatever reason. But anyway, if we picked up someone who actually filled a need (by need I mean we need a four who can defend, shoot, and rebound), such as Spellman or KBD, I’d feel a lot differently. Again, I think this need goes unaddressed as we plug in something that maybe partially fulfills one or two components of that criteria. I feel the same way as I did two years ago when I thought we needed a legit big man behind Rudy and Favors and we opted for Boris and Trey, and then had Bogut fall on our lap at the deadline (and over the summer, really) and we balked at it. Or when we chose Mack as the backup rather than picking up DWill off waivers. This has the same kind of feel (not the Allen selection, just that fours that fit our system don’t grow on trees and we balk any time one stares us in the face). It sounded more like a question... and that he gave input. Still weird to feel you need to justify the pick in a few different ways.
I’m okay with Grayson... just think he has a low ceiling... go prove me wrong please!
