Donald Fires FBI Director who's investigating Russian Election Hacking

ending corruption will be done

Well, yes, it is true that he got rid of Scott Pruitt at the EPA. He did "drain the swamp" there.
Oh, wait. He appointed Scott Pruitt to the EPA. That's when he was surrounding himself with "only the best people".

Look... all he needs is some support. With all these negative attitudes, stories... evidence... surrounding him. It's making the hardest job on the planet harder.

If ya'all just support our President for once, he will do an excellent job.

<said every **** ever>

well still gave 16 promises he fulfilled!
and you guys are petty and show none or 2 promises yet to be fullfilled?

so you expect him to fuillfill 100% of his promises 1 year and 8 months in.

hahahahahahahahahah

that is not reasonable. this is just a symptom of trump derangement SYNDROME

I'm not sure what thread you're reading, but I posted a list of 20. And if you think he will EVER voluntarily release his tax returns (just one of those broken promises) you are far more deranged about Trump than the rest of us.

If anyone wants to see Trump Derangement Syndrome in living color, just watch all the folks wearing Q tee shirts and waving Q signs at his rallies lately. The rational mind seems to be in short supply among those followers of the Conspiracy-Theorist-in-Chief.....

But, onward and upward...

I posted this New Republic article way back whenever in this thread, to remind folks of all those Russian mobsters laundering money through Trump properties:

Now, Andrew O'Hehir, an editor at Salon has returned to the theme of Trump and mobsters to suggest all the twists and turns of the Trump Reality TV presidency can be put in very simple terms: just think of Mr. Trump as The Godfather. Good read!

"All sorts of melodramatic language has been deployed to describe Donald Trump’s presidency over the last couple of years: It’s a treasonous conspiracy to undermine American democracy and install a puppet regime controlled by our enemies; it’s a slow-motion fascist coup, seeking to undo civil rights and cultural diversity and institute a white-supremacist theocracy.

What if it was never anything quite so grandiose? Now that the Trump regime is beginning to crack and crumble — one piece at a time, and without the satisfying, cathartic crash so many people have longed for since the fall of 2016 — it looks a lot like something more familiar: a second-rate mob drama."

Republican congressional leadership has compiled a list of some of the things they expect to be would be investigated if they Democrats manage to retake congress at the midterms.
  • President Trump’s tax returns
  • Trump family businesses — and whether they comply with the Constitution's emoluments clause, including the Chinese trademark grant to the Trump Organization
  • Trump's dealings with Russia, including the president's preparation for his meeting with Vladimir Putin
  • The payment to Stephanie Clifford — a.k.a. Stormy Daniels
  • James Comey's firing
  • Trump's firing of U.S. attorneys
  • Trump's proposed transgender ban for the military
  • Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's business dealings
  • White House staff's personal email use
  • Cabinet secretary travel, office expenses, and other misused perks
  • Discussion of classified information at Mar-a-Lago
  • Jared Kushner's ethics law compliance
  • Dismissal of members of the EPA board of scientific counselors
  • The travel ban
  • Family separation policy
  • Hurricane response in Puerto Rico
  • Election security and hacking attempts
  • White House security clearances
It's a stunning to what degree they have abdicated their constitutional duty to act as a check on the executive.

Con man.

First on the list is the most egregious of his Presidency. Tax cuts to the mega-rich on the backs of taxpayers. Our Social Security will likely help pay for it.

"By 2027, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, the richest 1 percent will have got 83 percent of the tax cut and the richest 0.1 percent, 60 percent of it. But more than half of all Americans — 53 percent — will pay more in taxes. As Trump told his wealthy friends at Mar-a-Lago just days after the tax bill became law, “You all just got a lot richer.”

ou know the right and left look at taxes different right.

the left wants to ideally tax the rich at high rates. and the middle class and poor at low rates.
meanwhile the right wants ideally to have a fair percentage. lets say 15% for every single person. if you make 60.000 a year or 6.000.000.000.000 a year. maybe with some exception to people below poverty line.

the right doenst care about 83% of tax goes to the rich 1%. so what if it goes there. they pay the most.

so maybe you dont see it as a promise unfullfilled becuase it doesnt fit your worldview of tax cuts. but to the right this is what it is all about.
let me give you an example. we go to a bar every friday. you me and babe. we recognize our budget/salary differs
you are the richest.
so you decide to pay 50% of the tab, babe 2nd richest he gets to pay 30% of the tab and i do the 20.
so if the bar bill is a 100 bucks. it goes 50 30 20.
now lets say the new bar owner promised us a reduction in the bill instead of 100 bucks now we get to pay 50 bucks.
so your bill reduction is 25 dollars. babes is 15 dollars and mine is 10.
so your cut is like HUGE! will i complain omg he got 25 dollar reduction in the bill i only got 10. NO! because thats how it works.

smae with taxes. the rich pick up the majority of the bill so when tax cuts come they will get the majority of the cuts.

the right doesnt care about that!

ps while trumpw as at it he fullfileld half of obamas campaign promise yesterday. renegotiating nafta with mexico. canada might follow might not

Read all about it; Donnie butt hurt there's more negative news about him on the internet than positive. Like he's been living in an "alternate universe", and never realized there were people that cared he's a crook, liar, thief, ****** president, etc.

Moreso, economic adviser looking into if we should regulate google results:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2018/08/28/trump-wakes-up-googles-himself-and-doesnt-like-what-he-sees-illegal/

I'm not sure he can regulate it.

Poor Trump. He was born into the wrong country. It is sad that he is held back by the Constitution. He'd be the greatest dictator the world has ever seen, if only he had the chance.

Trump pandering to Evangelical leaders and sowing the seeds of violence. This ******* would start a civil war to save his ***.

From BBC:

"An audio recording of Mr Trump's closed-door meeting with Evangelical leaders at the White House was leaked to US media.

During the meeting, Mr Trump said the mid-term elections were not just a referendum on him but also "on your religion, it's a referendum on free speech and the First Amendment [guaranteeing basic freedoms]".

"It's not a question of like or dislike, it's a question that they will overturn everything that we've done and they will do it quickly and violently. And violently. There is violence. When you look at Antifa - these are violent people," he said."

Christian Nationalism is a disease. From the Puritans in Massachusetts Bay through Manifest Destiny and the belief that it was God's desire and will that America extend from sea to shining sea, to today's Evangelicals. Christian nationalism is a disease. Nothing good comes from marrying religious beliefs and over the top patriotism....

Do you think the same about Jewish nationalism?

Nationalism in general is garbage. Has nothing to do with Christians.

Trump also promised them that they would be allowed to say "Merry Christmas" again if Republicans do well in the mid-terms. I'm so relieved. I am so tired of being fined and threatened every time I speak that holiday greeting.
