What's new

2018-2019 NBA Season

So, Fred Hoiberg was fired. Should he have been? I thought they were tanking, weren't they? Why fire him?

seems like weird timing to do it now ..
It's weird... and now they're saying Jim Boylen the assistant will be the HC this year and next. Feels too much like what the Jazz did in hastily making Ty permanent HC (which I was strongly against at the time).

Jim Boylen. Yes that Jim Boylen that "coached" the University of Utah. I thought he was more equipped to be an assistant manager at the Buy More or Dunder Mifflin. I guess there might be something to the old saying..."fake until you make". crazy.

Just saw on the Jump today that Hayward is paid $31.2m this year.

For what they're getting from him coming off the bench?

Wow...

1 week into december The Kings are 3½ games out of first place in the west and have a winning record on the road. Damn.

Alec Burks played a hell of a game tonight he had 22pts 7 boards and 9 assists...

Joakim Noah actually put up some solid #s in 16 minutes tonight for the Grizzlies... 13pts 5 boards 3ast 1 stl..

Apparently Embiid is unhappy with his role since the Jimmy Butler trade.

Before the trade Embiid was averaging 28 pts. With Butler he’s averaging 23.

Hey Embiid, without Butler, you guys got blown out by the Celtics without Irving and Hayward in the playoffs. With Butler, you are a contender to win it all. I guess we know how Embiid priorities lie. There’s no I in team Embiid.

Without Butler they were top 5 team in the East, not contenders at all. With Butler they are now maybe top 4 team since Oladipo may be out for long time... still not contenders at all. They matchup badly with both Raptors and Boston, not winning more than 1 game vs them. Did you even see how Simmons disappears vs Boston or Raptors?
