I am sure he would be nice here but I dont think he improves us all that much, but I could be wrong. Maybe he has shown stuff this year that I havent seen.

Oh he improves us, but lets not get it twisted he is a 7th, 8th, 9th man.

Very few, thats why Its extremely unlikely. I would not build just for that. I would build to be a top 4 team every year in the West for awhile and hope to get lucky. We arent the Lakers.

Low likelihood, but when it does work it's huge... cost controlled player on a rookie deal is huge to building the rest of the team. Every year there are multiple starter level players that go in the draft after the lotto.

Yeah, It happens. More often its a bust, a lot more often. I would give it up for a good player most of the time though, especially in the Jazz's position.

Fair enough, I could see that. I like Sef better but he is hurt a lot right now and Im not sure if he will get back. Last year Sef was incredible. A great defender that could create and shoot. This year he has been hurt most of the year but still shooting incredibly well and playing good defense.

I still think Niang could be okay but he has been pretty bad lately.

Why would Kings do that though? They have like $1B in cap space this offseason. I think we'd have to add something or give them a backup pg... There could be a three team deal with Atlanta if they liked Exum.... I don't think he's available even though he's not getting as much run as he was earlier in the season.

Just doesn't see the floor much is the only reason I would think. I agree. I'd use the space to take on teams that want to drop 19/20 money and pick up some middling assets, if I were them.

He does drive the ball a lot, which fits in with our system this year. But he also runs a lot of ISO plays that does not fit in. He also is a really poor defender which does not fit in. He allows 70% at the rim. Which is one of the worst PFs in the league.

Luckily gobert is actually quite good defensively around the rim.

I think having a shooter like harris would makeoffense easier for gobert as well which might leave even more energy for gobert to expend on defense
