Utah Jazz 2018-19 Championship Bus CHOO CHOO

Sunday's games:
Suns @ Wolves (not holding my breath)
Spurs @ Clippers (I think the Clippers are falling, and I want to catch the Spurs)
Apparently it's really, really hard to get the home court correct, but at least the Clippers won. And we almost got some help from the Suns too.

Monday's games:
Thunder @ Knicks
Kings @ Nets
Pelicans @ Grizzlies
Rockets @ 76ers
Blazers @ Jazz
Warriors
@ Lakers

As much as it pains me, I'm going to have to cheer for the Warriors here. Otherwise, go home team!

The Brow is out for a while in New Orleans. We can probably cross them off the watch list soon.

Like hell you can’t. It is clearly the Sixers. I mean ****’em. But a Houston loss is undeniably better. Both from the angle of the playoff race and a historically rivalry.

Can’t pick a side. Smfh. The ****?!
I think we will make playoffs and be a higher seed than Houston regardless. So whatever, hope they go into 3 or 4 OT's and be too exhausted and banged up to play next games and both lose few in a row.

Next 2 weeks will be very telling:

@LA Clippers
Cleveland
Portland
Denver
Minnesota
@Minnesota
@Portland
Jan 30

Welp, I said I’d be happy as **** with 5-2. I’m not sure if that’s happening but if we beat Denver, it’s definitely possible.

Some good games for the jazz tonight.
Blazers vs okc. Win win
Kings will probably lose to raptors
Clippers at Dallas is win win but I'm rooting for the mavs
Hopefully the suns can beat the wolves

looks like we are on our way on up the ladder, again. We didn't start our run last year until about now.

It's been so awesome to watch Harden, hard to not root for him to keep doing what he's doing.

But I keep forgetting that they are basically keeping pace in the West with only one good player healthy. Can the dude keep dropping 60 but lose a bit more?

Its been pretty easy for me not to root for him. He does some amazing things but he also is awful to watch at times. I hate his style of play and how he tries to abuse the system/refs.

You're free to feel that way. But I feel like there is lots of pre-bias when people watch Harden.

He's an absolutely incredible basketball player. I love to watch greatness.

Dude is averaging 45/9/8 for the MONTH, and it's the 24th. To reduce that accomplishment to 'he cheats the system' is lame to me.

Its not an either/or. Like I said he does some amazing things but he also abuses the system. He purposely creates contact and flops around to get calls. Its hard to watch. Just like in his last game where get got 25 free throw attempts. That was not enjoyable to me to watch. That does not mean he isnt incredible. He just is the least enjoyable star to watch for me.

I watched the highlight of the Knicks game and most of the calls he got were either phantom fouls or offensive fouls. So many Knick players threw their hands up in disbelief. Every fan who supports a team besides the Rockets should be concerned about this, as the same thing will happen to their team when Harden plays against them.

It also irks me how they've relaxed the definition of a travel and gather step for his benefit.

It's also stupid how he can do a step back and then jump forward on his shot and get a foul called in his favor. They need to change the rules for that. If a defender gets to the space first (by contesting that step back jumper, for instance) and the offensive player jumps forward on his shot, there should be no foul called. Otherwise the step back jumper is unguardable.

This.
Watching harden bores me.

Hate watching defenders put both h hands behind their back when defending harden in order to avoid getting called for a foul.

Imagine if Mitchell ever got to that level.

*swoon*

He’s already getting better a flailing his limbs when going up to get the call.

This is the game people.

I prefer to imagine him getting to the level of kobe, lebron, jordan, curry, kd, etc. mvp level with some superstar calls from the officials and some overexagerrating to get some calls without it being retarded and at all time high levels. I dont need mitchell to be historic at getting to the line by miles. I would rather see him make field goals than free throws. Also would like him to be a champion like those guys instead of bounced in the playoffs every year. Swoon
A player can be elite mvp level player without being treated by the officials the way harden does and without acting like harden does. I prefer that.
To each their own though.
