Get your pompous and selfrightous *** and jokes out of my thread. You were the dumbass making a post with the kings up by 20 and then having to come back into the thread to look even more stupid with comments like this. I never claimed to be a seer, revelator, or prophet. I made this thread for predictions.

The jazz will win MAYBE 1 game

Geez. I'll never call you the prophet again. Didn't know that was a sore spot.

Sorry that I didn't think we would actually play the Rockets. My bad. I'm a ****ing idiot.

Right while the world will be watching game of thrones

Depending on if my wife is off at that time I very well might be watching GoT over the Jazz game. I'll watch the Jazz game on delay if that happens, but GoT final season opener? This is once in a lifetime **** we're talking about.

538 has the rockets 70% and us 30% to win this.

What were we last year vs the thunder? Wasnt this bad of odds thats for sure.
That's about how I see it too. 30% chance.
I have rockets winning in 6. (Wouldn't be surprised by rockets in 5 or 7 either though)

- Donovan to ball out and cement his 2019 superstar status instead of that sophomore end of 2018 slump we saw
- Gobert does better on the perimeter but still gets torched too much. Gives Capela fits on the roll on the offensive end, but will also have a game or two where he gets benched for Favors late since they can't play both at the same time vs the Rockets and Favors will have a couple of nice games.
- Rubio completely disappears on the road, shows up at home but it won't be enough by that stage. Basically stamps his exit pass in the offseason
- Royce has one game where he looks dominant defensively on the perimeter similar to Exum last year
- Raul Neto outplays Rubio for at least two games, people start to learn about how good Neto is (assuming he actually plays)
- James Harden won't get as many FTs but will drill all the step back 3s in the world
- CP3 goes nuts
- Snyder outcoaches Pringles all series but Pringles has too much talent for Snyder to overcome
Really really good post. I agree with all of it.

I have no problem here cause I don't have HBO so I have to wait for GOT to arrive on my app. I will be watching the game.

Utah Jazz VS Houston

Gonna start with some recycled material.

Here's my take on a Houston series:

Last year when everyone thought we were headed for the lottery, I kept saying that was nonsense. I wasn't saying that as an optimist (on the whole, I'd consider myself slightly on the optimistic side) but because everyone was so down on things, it appeared that I was simply an optimist. The whole year I wanted Houston in the post-season because I thought (and still do) that they're fake. When we tied the series up last year coming back to Utah, I thought we had exposed them and it looked like we'd have a pretty good chance to advance. Well, this year they've dropped off significantly (I'd been saying this all off-season when everyone still had them as #2 in the west). They lost a lot of key parts. Last year, we didn't have Rubio. This year we have a bit more shooting. However, I don't believe we have the same type of momentum coming into the playoffs. I would like our chances against Houston in something that wasn't the first round. This is the reigning MVP. This is the guy who's been marketed by the league the entire season. The whistle does not bend toward a first-round exit. While I believe we will put up a fight, I think a lot of times that we start to mount some momentum, it will have to overcome the speed bumps of the whistle (or lack thereof), and in the end I don't believe we will be able to withstand that or catch a break long enough to prevail.

Houston in 6. I hope I'm wrong.

We beat OKC - who is a bad matchup for us - and they had Westbrook, George and Adams. So to act like Houston is some awesome team who will sweep us no matter what is nonsense.

As long as we play smart and don't throw up hero ball shots it's going to be a good series.
