When you say you're good, do you mean like you're Chilean good or American good? I once realized the difference.

I say that because I thought I was pretty good at ping pong and when I moved to Chile, I realized I was pretty mediocre. Chile loves their tennis and ping pong. I haven't played in years, but absolutely love ping pong. I can get crushed and it just makes me wanna get better. It's such a fun and competitive game. I probably should buy a table for my basement.

This isn't Chilean, but you'll enjoy. Mad skills.

Anyone south of Provo considering going? I’d be down to carpool. I’ll drive or contribute some gas money if someone else wants to drive.

I’d be down to attend something, but I wouldn’t be able to get there until about 7 or so. If you end up reserving somewhere, I’d probably show up to watch the game.

I'm very very good for an American, but undoubtedly would be much more average in a country like Chile. Nevertheless I'm good enough that the odds of someone in a random collection of 10-100 guys being better than me are essentially nil. I'm probably top 100 in the state, maybe top 50 on a good day.* According to a demographic website I just consulted there are around 610,000 males in Utah between 18 and 50 (let's say the age range of the best players, probably also the age range of y'all), so there's like a 1 in 6100 chance of a random guy in that age range in UT being better than me. I.e. if the get together had a few thousand guys I might not be the best, but with a dozen or maybe two, I would be shocked if anyone was better.

*Edit--for example I came in 2nd at the BYU tournament last semester, and came in 2nd the previous semester as well. (They didn't have a tournament this semester unfortunately.)

Or if anyone has other suggestions then I would probably be down as long as it isn't too far away.

If anyone can think of others that I missed then go ahead and @ them I left a lot of people off the list who I would like to have there but I know they don't live around here.
The more the merrier I always say though so if you see the thread and want to go them show!

I feel pretty confident that I will go but not 100% of course. I have a wife and kid so I cant guarantee anything.

I would love to get together with y'all. Unfortunately, I'm in DC and won't be able to make it. The first home game is a great time to do it too, we should be up 2/0! Go Jazz!
