I'd rather have Kemba than Klay

If all things were equally possible, then I'd pick Kemba over Klay. I don't have time to justify this right now, but I'm sure I'll get to it at some point.

Discuss.

Klay is a very rich man’s Wally Szczerbiak. That’s not a knock, but I don’t think he’d look as good outside that system. He’d still look good, just not quite as good as he currently looks.

When Klay is on and feeling it, it's one of the most beautiful and fun basketball you can watch.

So would I rather have Kemba or Klay?

Yes.

I like them both.

I'd be ecstatic if we could land either one. Unfortunately neither one are coming here.

I’d take Klay. Fits the team perfect. Long great defender. Kemba is a liability on defense, makes us small, and takes away what Ingles does, and not much different from Mitchell. Klay helps win more games in my opinion and helps make things easier for Mitchell.
Is he really a liability on defense? He can break down defenses. I don't see a problem having two Mitchell's, it's what we need. I like Klay but he's a Korver on steroids with +defense.

I agree, we need a great PG. Conley will do. So would Kemba.

And we started winning by far a lot more games when the jazz traded for Korver think what we’d do with Klay. Yes, he’s a huge liability on defense. Not to mention being to small doesn’t help.

Kemba can space the floor just as good as Klay can. Also -Rubio +Kemba = more spacing.

I would much rather have Klay Thompson. I think his scoring ability has been suppressed some by being on the Warriors. Yes Steph and Durant help with spacing, but they also take a lot of shots. Klay dont need a lot of room.

Klay shoots a much better percentage. Kemba is a low percentage streaky shooter. I do like him, but Klay is better. He is better for this team too.

Just get rid of Rubio anyways. Run Donavan at the 1.

Kemba may be able to space the floor but he isnt making like Klay is making.

I also think Klay's game is going to age a little better than Kemba, and both about to be 30. Kemba relies on that quickness. Klay doesn't need to even dribble the ball to be a threat.

Also Klay, and that Championship experience.

Give me Klay all day.

I'd rather have Klay than Kemba too, but only because Kemba and Kyrie would have a hard time sharing the floor. Plus, I like the combination of Klay and Kawaii on the defensive end. It's gonna be an epic offseason.

Good because there is a like a 0% chance we could get Klay. If he left GS this summer I would be stunned.

Klay is one hell of a defensive player. Plus the refs let him maul ppl But either would be amazing Depends whether you want Donovan to be PG or not

I will be happy with either of them. just get one plz!!!

This is like high school when you and your buddies would discuss which girl you'd rather date/sleep with, but the girls in question were all so far out of your league, it wasn't even funny.

Thanks for letting us all know that you settled to sleep with Christie Cankles during your high school years because you felt that was what you deserved. We have to change this mindset. If the Milwaukee Bucks can convince Giannis Antetokounmpo to stick around and sign a max with them while surrounding him valuable pieces as well as become a top tier team after decade's of failure, the Utah Jazz can do it too. To achieve this the management has to make great decisions. They clearly have not over for a while now. And the fact that many Jazzfanz have given up that our team will ever reach success, but still stick up for DL and his poor decisions proves this. I'm a true Jazz fan and have been for almost 30 years. Things need to change and it starts with DL. Defend him all you want, but there are teams that are contending today that were in worse situations only 3-5 years ago. Changes need to be made. Let's stop thinking that the only girl we deserve is Christie Cankles.

Even Christie is out of your league. Only your right hand for you Slapper. Internal development as DL says, pitchez/(with a b)

This. Klay could score 25-27 points per game if he didn’t have Durant on the team. People acting as if Klay is just a really good shooter and that’s it underestimate his overall offensive skills.
